Why did Casey Jones have Gingavitus and bad breath/mucus problem

In the first movie why did Casey have horrible breath?

Donatello in his disses disses his breath twice

"No way atomic Mouth......"
"You're the geek camel breath"

Even when he makes fun of Tatsu he tells him to take primatene.

I wonder if its because he always hung around punks and drank a lotta beer and had nasty alcohol breath....
