TMNT Shredder in Hell Preview - Page 3

I was thinking about all the spirits being transferred to other bodies since Shredder's soul/spirit is that of Takeshi Tatsuo. Honeycutt transferred his spirit into the SAL robot, Yoshi's and his four sons' spirits were transferred into a rat and four turtles suggestively cuz of machinations by Krang. Then you have Takeshi Tatsuo's spirit being transferred into a young Oroku Saki. Originally, I believed that had directly to do with Kitsune's supernatural abilities. Now while that may still be the case, I couldn't help but notice that all these previous spirit transfers seemed to have occurred in close proximity to Krang's involvement in whoever's stories is happening. We know of the whole situation of Honeycutt and Krang. Krang being present at the Hamato Clan's execution and his desire have "DNA & QNA" samples from them brings about the pretty plausible belief of what subsequently happened. The fact at the time of Tatsuo's death, Kitsune was allied with Krang just makes me wonder if a possibility exists that maybe the transfer of his soul into Saki may have been because of Krang's technology, maybe in connection with Kitsune's abilities.

In all of that, I just question how they managed to get those samples into those specific animals. Was it a separate batch of Ooze that Krang kept sitting around until necessary? And in that case, why couldn't have have put it together that the mutants trying to fight him just happened to be the same animals that were misplaced? All things considered, it shouldn't have been too much of a coincidence.

What if Kitsune had more of a part in the creation of the Turtles than we previously believed?

I think it could be possible, since Kitsune did do some work for Krang for a while. Not entirely sure how interested she would have been in maintaining the spirits of a family that was basically Saki's enemies, and could have been a threat to her success of bringing back the Dragon Lord.

Which would probably have been her motivation for Leo's brainwashing. Less to be another pawn to Saki, and more to keep him out of her way.

Well that in the issue beyond 100 would deal with the the threat of the dragon and thus be the climax of the Pantheon story line probably alongside shredder's presumed return. Not sure what kitsune would do with Saki's headless corpse with her dad inside it unless he can heal it and probably be unstable.

I genuinely feel like Kitsune might be playing some 7D chess with our asses and she just pulled a Young Justice and went "All a part of my plan" when Saki died or something.

It could be, especially when I remember that Kitsune had sort of a smirk/smile on her face in #50 when shredder addressed her when he was about to die like everything was going to plan.

Or maybe the Rat King had more to do with it since in his first appearance he commented about everything in their lives had to do with him and his family. Plus, some of his comments made me believe that he would love to screw up Kitsune's plans.

I sort of doubt it, we might find out more about Kitsune's manipulation of Shredder but I don't think the other member will be that important.

Basically is means that the issue sold out and they have to make another run of prints (2nd prints) It essentially means that the issue sold beyond expectations. It's a very good sign of health or popularity in terms of how well the mini series is doing.

The only other time this has happened for the IDW TMNT series was issue #1 and #44 that I know of.

The interesting thing here is, with the solicitation code, they put in for the second print before issue #1 even released, so they must have had more orders for #1 initially than they had actually printed.

Funny thing (and by funny, I mean nightmarish) but #2 doesn't appear to be listed as a release for the remaining two weeks of this month...

Maybe it's been delayed?

I thought it was only issues #4 and #5. Oh, well... It's for a good cause!

Hopefully this delay doesn't cause the ending of the mini to be somehow spoiled by City at War, though.
