No Jennika there, so it is not set in the IDW universe, I guess. A Tales of TMNT volume 3 maybe? I doubt they are doing a Mirage volume 5 as they would need to take care of volume 4 first. Maybe it is a new volume but set between volume 2 and 4. After all the premise of volume 4 was that it was set many years after the previous stories.

So I know how some of you will react to this but I decided to sub to Sophie's Patreon to get a sneak peek at what she's working on and all I'm going to say is yes it's for FCBD, it is not related to Ronin and it's f***ing wild!

I admit that even I was starting to get a bit worried about how slow things were going at the moment but having seen what I have seen (both related and unrelated to the FCBD project) I'm very excited for what's coming next year!

Out of respect for Sophie however... MY LIPS ARE SEALED.

Isn't the Rat King like a pied piper in this series? Probably he's controlling the guys.

At this point, I wouldn't mind seeing the main cast killed off (or "sent to another dimension") and being replaced by dopplegangers from across the ever-expanding multi-verse.

I haven't seen anything like that on Sophie's patreon, but as the tease implies the guys aren't as they seem.

I think it really is a Frankenstein monster mutant, there's turtle parts but i think the left arm is one of the punk frogs. So there's probably a lot more parts.

Jennika could be captured by a certain former mad scientist turned mayor who tortures and experiments on her turning her into a weapon that will expose the mutants as 'threats'. This will lead to the end of her partnership with the Fab Four and the mutant cure. A lot of this is wishful thinking to get me back on board.

You know I just realised that no one on here has really compared the teaser images with their original inspirations. Might be worth a closer look?

I think anyone who'd care a bunch is too infuriated by the heresy of These People "doing an homage" to Those People to say much about it.

It's like how "Terminator: Genisysises" did all that work in their terrible, awful movie doing near-perfect recreation of scenes from other, much better Terminator movies, right down to the lighting and colors and everything. Nice, but the entire movie itself was awful. So it's like "Good job with that part, except I hate everything else you're doing with this project more than my words can convey, so I can't give you full points for this one thing you did okay with. Half credit, at best!"

It's like Sheryl Crow covering Guns N Roses. "Maybe it's best we not; we may upset more people than we entertain."

Those aren't bad recreations just from an artwork perspective, though. I do like that the Turtles are less "pointy"; that always bugged me about Mirage's general art style. "Let's draw a turtle's head! First, draw a square." Like, what?

Anyways, I'unno, like I said those aren't bad recreations but I think most people here are past the point of caring about anything the current team does. So they're not really going to put it over with gushing praise. Just my guess.
