Mondo Gecko '87

"Mondo Gecko's the name, and stealing's my game!"

1st appearance episode "Michelangelo Meets Mondo Gecko"

Customized the original 1990 Mondo Gecko figure to more closely match his '87 toon appearance. A lot of sculpting involved, then repainted the figure. Customized some accessories as well.

From what I've seen so far, your re-sculpts (or 'toonification of the former Playmates toys) is really good. You definitely got the FW OT vibe.

Keep up the good work.

I don't need 6 inch ultra articulated collectors figures. If playmates did a line of toon accurate 4 inch figures as a collectible for us out there who grew up with the toon I think they'd make bank.

Is is great and I always love seeing when you do something new.

Hey thanks! I also prefer smaller scale figures, I feel the larger super articulated figures have too many unsightly joint lines. I'll be working on more customs to show here.

Thank you! Yup, he used a blaster gun when he was a villain in Mr. X's gang, so I gave him General Traag figure's blaster gun because it look kinda similar.

Another great example of how even just the appropriate and careful paint apps can change everything.
