RIP Vin Scully
67-year Sportscaster Vin Scully, the voice of the Los Angeles (also then Brooklyn) Dodgers, has passed to heaven at 94. He had worked for both CBS Sports & NBC Sports Networks, play-by-play announcing baseball, NFL football, & PGA golf, did radio announcing for Fordham Rams University baseball, football, basketball, won many awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom (as did the also recently departed legend Bill Russell) & a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and has a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fordham radio station WFUV, which he helped found, named after him. Rest well and enjoy broadcasting sports in heaven Vin Scully.
