Most likely it seems to be an episode rather than an arc.

Well didn't Vicky82 said that the humans vs mutants arc is after the space arc?

I'm not sure, it could be an arc or just 1 episode. I'm hoping it's an arc.

Hopefully the gang war episode is part of a City at War adaptation.

City at War is a plot line where the turtles have defeated Shredder. And the city of New York goes into an all out war over who holds dominion over it. The battle is namely between the New York chapter of the Foot Clan and the Japanese Foot Clan. Karai is introduced during this arc. And offers the turtles a chance at peace between the Foot Clan and them if they defeat the Foot Elite.
In the Mirage this arc covers 13 chapters In the 2k3 this story is three episodes long The warring factions are the gangs led by Hun, the mobsters now led by Stockman and the Foot clan now led by Karai. Again Karai is introduced and goes to New York to clean up the Shredder's mess and proposes a truce with the turtles that if they support her in helping to restore order in the city, the vendetta against them would be lifted. |

Also, given the way this show is written, if it's arc there will be episodes in between where they don't really do anything related to it despite the rather pressing matter of the issue, probably have to stop some another random monsters that come out of nowhere and don't really show up again.

One of the things I'm hoping for is some ramifications of "Annihilation Earth". I don't know how everything's going to be resolved but we have six young witnesses with some eager mouths who've gotta let it out somehow at some point--not to mention that these events have to connect somehow because of the time travel rules established in this series. The two I'm most looking forward to are Splinter and Tiger Claw because they hold the most potential.
I think TC finding out about it will set him off into that interesting future away from the Foot Clan that Ciro hinted at at the end of that spotlight video on him. I mean, he's shown signs of hesitancy as well as some flashes of good characteristics at odds with most of the Foot Clan members. He could go back to Japan, find his rival, determine his own fate, whatever. I'd personally be excited to see him become this show's version of Old Hob and join the Mutanimals. I also think Karai will ultimately end up with the Mutanimals by the season or series end so that she won't steal the show's spotlight from the turtles but still be just a call away like the rest of the Mutanimal gang. Plus it'd be great to have her argue with TC some more because I LOVED those moments back in Season 2! Splinter I think will be crushed by this knowledge especially with every other trial he's had to endure up to this point. I think he'll ultimately end up as a darker, hardened mix of the Yoshi he once mentioned to Raph that he was not so proud of ("Turtle Temper"), the strict kind of mentor we saw in "Panic in the Sewers", and basically as cruel as the Shredder himself. I've been imagining Tiger Claw could find his redemption by joining the Mutanimals and helping return Karai to him in order to snap him out of it. This is the main storyline that I would go with if I was show runner anyway. Of course, this being me, it's very likely never going to come true. |

Still hoping that rival turns out to be Usagi, though I dunno how likely it is given Stan's stance on a post-Laird crossover... I'm guessing that having him as the rival was their original plan, though, which may be why we haven't seen it happen already or be more directly implied.

I just hope the Karai arc is finally finished off after the space ar. This is one of the most annoying arcs in this series i swear...On and off, on and off, can't she just get de-mutated already.

Turtles in Space might end in either The Ever-Burning Fire or Earth's Last Stand.

Agreed, there's very little about the series I don't care for, but that stands out for me.

I'm actually betting that she'll become part of the Mutanimals some day. She now has mutant abilities (which she can learn to make better with them as well as finding her own path in life), she could become an asset to them with her knowledge of the Shredder and the fact that she's Splinter's daughter will make her even more welcome, and she'll be able to be brought back any time without having to steal the spotlight from the shows title characters.
