RIP R Lee Ermey
Statement from R. Lee Ermey's long time manager, Bill Rogin: It is with deep sadness that I regret to inform you all that R. Lee Ermey ("The Gunny") passed away this morning from complications of pneumonia. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Semper Fi, Gunny. Godspeed.
Sad to hear I loved him on his show Mail Call on the history channel. He also was one of the toy soliders in toy story https://twitter.com/RLeeErmey/status/985651917870202883

Commanding instructor & commanding actor. Going to miss him in all his tough-guy roles, and all others too. Be blessed in heaven Ronald Lee Ermey.

I didn't know they stacked s*** that high Private!
If an actor is ever remember for one role, they are doing well in their career. He managed it in his first attempt...

If any actor is remembered for one role, then you just know that there was more fun (aside from constant practice) that was had on set that neither the actor(s) nor the director(s), would ever admit to.
It would have been cool if Ermey wrote in and suggested his own dialogue for the various roles that he worked in. Straighten up those angels up there Gunny; they've been slackin'. Last edited by DarkFell; 04-17-2018 at 02:40 AM. |
