Finally got my Triceraton today (the extra two months were on me waiting for Jada's Elec Man and Cut Man to come in) and while I think all the criticisms are valid... this is easily the best figure Super7 has put out for this line overall.

I did want to speak to the knees specifically, though, as that seems to be one of the three biggest complaints about this guy. The knees DO look terrible if you bend them much past neutral... but I can't fathom any reason why you ever would. They're like the only joint on this guy with any range and the rest of the articulation is so limited, he'd just look weird with his knees at any kind of extreme bend.

At any rate, best Super7 TMNT figure by a longshot in my opinion.

Not at all related, but if there are any Mega Man fans on here, the Jada figures are basically perfect and they just generally have some of the best QC I've seen in a modern line. Highly recommend them if you're a fan of the series.

They're INCREDIBLE. I just grabbed series 2 and I love the expressions on Cutman and Elecman. Plus Hyper Bomb Mega Man's oversized bomb accessory is a delight. I wasn't planning on getting Mega Man variants, but they're so much fun.

Back to the topic...

It's been almost six months since wave 12 was solicited. Since then, we've only gotten the SDCC exclusives and two more glow-in-the-dark surprise drops. Add in wave 12 now being delayed until June and wave 13 is still MIA which seems nuts.

It just seems like all the momentum died with Rat King getting released because it's now been over a year since we got anything vintage-esque revealed.

pretty sure Super7 has moved on from the Vintage style classics line

You'd think all the interviews Brian Flynn gets that someone would just ask him straight up and then be given the answers in return. Seems no-one really knows how to ask questions. Robo is too busy stroking Flynn, while the others are just gushing over the fact they get to interview flynn to begin with. Meanwhile, customers (who supported the line paying full prices) just want simple yes or no questions answered.

Even if he were to give an answer, it’d mostly likely be open ended as to not close the door entirely on FOMO fans still buying into the line without hesitation in hopes that vintage gets announced.

This is a great point. I recently watched Veebz interview Zammit and nothing of value was revealed there. I've seen folks like Pixel Dan sometimes ask the more relevant questions (in general, not just S7 or NECA) but even then there's hesitation. And, a lot of the newbie influencers are busy stroking Flynn's ego (as you've said...even though veterans like Robo could do the same) and sometimes they do push for the more pressing questions but the manner in which they do it is...thirsty...which causes Flynn to push them aside or say something like...hmm.

It was suggested that they were doing two waves of 2K3 back-to-back because of having to reshuffle things around redoing Rat King, but I think that was just speculation. In general, it seems they have a difficult time with production delays, so that exacerbates things when you're effectively only seeing two waves a year. But I think a lot of the future of the line's direction is going to depend on how well those 2K3 waves are received.

And I have no idea how reliable Kyle is for information, but the chat actually did ask him about the vintage recreations on a recent-ish episode of GDL, and he claimed they were still going to be doing alternate waves of 2K3 and "vintage-inspired," so take that for what you will. I wanna say this was in September or October-ish.

These man-children want their free toys and to retain their access, so of course they're not going to ask pointed or difficult questions.

A simple question- Will there be another continuing wave (or two) of the TMNT classics line? Drop some needed names like General Traag, Pizza Face, Usagi etc or is the line done and just moving into something else?

It's not hard to ask this. But veebs is busy drooling over nothing and doing the same ole boring interviews and wasting everyone's time talking about the same things.

Has it struck anyone as likely that Bryan and Nick talk outside of the actual discussion posted online, and establish topics that Bryan won't specifically address beforehand (so Nick doesn'task), and that that's part of the agreement for doing the interviews in the first place?

And that Nick is in fact "a man" for honouring the agreement.

Going by the recent ReActions and 2k3 turtles, it seems as if Super7 is no longer doing the vintage line. I hope I’m wrong. I’d like to see Heavy Metal Raph, Undercover Don, the rest of the Undercover turtles, ‘89 characters, and etc. to round out the waves.

I'll be upfront and acknowledge that Veebs annoys the crap out of me in these interviews (where he's perfectly fine when he and Robo stream together), but I think you're probably right that they cover what can be talked about beforehand... which makes Brian's non-answers even more irksome.

I know a lot of people don't really seem to like Kyle, either, but at least when he's doing livestreams, I feel like I'm getting genuine answers, whereas Flynn typically says a whole lot of nothing, or makes excuses about why they lost licenses, or downplays rampant QC issues. So even if Veebs COULD ask whatever he wanted, I think we'd still get more of the same.

Perhaps there are more important things to life than giving a rip what companies, and their shill video blogger personalities, feed us... perhaps we should just enjoy what we already bought today, and ignore them, completely and totally, until something new that we want actually appears. Snuff out the need for constant buzz about what's next, because we all consciously know that we're being manipulated on every level here. Oops, sorry, I took the wrong color pill this morning. Never mind.
