Its for the same reason they feel the need to bring up Donnie's crush in every episode. Its boring and pointless.

Yeah, I'm used to him now, too.

Also, that Leo vs. Shredder fight is coming. They're foreshadowing the hell out of it.

But what did the big flag say, as opposed to their personal flags.

Agree on getting more used to Seth's Leo. Not all the way there yet for me, close, but been helpful to hear more dialog from him/them, Seth seems to be falling a bit better into place with it.

May have to watch the repeat on the other channel in a couple hours.

Doing my best to avoid spoilers, as this was the season 3 element I was looking forward to the most. Out of curiosity how, and where did you watch it? I want to see it so badly!

I was fine with them bringing up the Donnie crush in this episode simply because it was one of the things Leo told his brothers they needed to let go of. It fit with the plot this time.

I thought Mikey was acting mature, ok not as much as Into Dimension X but he wasn't goofing off and he understood what he had to do, he was focused and he defeated Spirit Rahzar.

Agreed. Everyone's saying he wasn't mature enough, but he was actually pretty decent in this episode.

Well the individual flag symbols represented the elements Splinter set them out to be like:

For intense: Donnie's was the mountain: This might look fimilar,

Leo was Wind, Raph was Fire, and Mikey was Forest.

Do you think that last scene from A Foot too Big would have fit better here as was originally intended from the storyboard?

I was using a Nickelodeon streaming site but the quality wasn't great. When the episode goes on to anime flavor at some point.

You're right. The writing on the banner is Chinese, but the characters representing each of the turtles can be Japanese. Chinese and Japanese do share some similarities. Japanese is just more simplified and was originally adopted from Chinese. For example, the character for mountain (yama in Japanese) may look the same as the character for mountain in Chinese, only it'll have a different reading...but the meaning will be the same.

This is why some Japanese can maybe come across something written in Chinese and understand the gist of it or get an idea as to what it could mean since some of the characters share the same meaning, even if they don't know how to read it verbally. I guess you could say the same for Italian/Spanish/Portuguese. Of course all three are different, but if you know one or have studied one of these, by reading it, you may understand some of it or get the gist of what it could mean.

Oh, and anyone else find Casey creepy sounding when he knew that he'd be alone with April for three whole days? I'd like to see their side of the story...

o.O Yes...

Where they gone three days still? Was kind of wondering after Splinter showed up and set them in the right direction.

That storyboard wasn't originally intended for this episode.

Really more like kanji. Chinese characters read as Japanese http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C5%ABrinkazan

Which Foot Too Big scene? The end piece? Think I do recall they showed Donnie wearing the cloak... If that's the part I'd have to agree it worked better where they put it since it fit well with the juxtaposition (wow, there's a word a never use) of Donnie-April and Bigfoot-Donnie.

Yes! This could have been the scene had Donnie fought and won his inner battle with being obsessed with April, of letting her go. I felt that it was missing on his part since it's such a big part of his life. However, this wasn't about just Donnie, so moving it was probably wise.

Hands down one of the BEST Episodes in the entire series! Loved every second of it.

The Woods setting offered some good variety, intricate world-building and unique stories for the overall series but I can't wait for the Return to New York Saga.
