I was watching that Casey/Raph piece but it's not in my completed watches. Must have disappeared completely.
What I have my eye on is the Fugitoid splash page on Ebay... |

That piece has been up a couple of times before, and has been discussed here. I was tempted on buying, but the seller refused to tell me who the other artist signature was on piece besides Kevin, so I decided not to buy.

i couldnt tell if was the pencils or inks that were kevin's. to be honest, they both looked a little off, but it could have been legit too, it's hard to say for sure. i've seen a few fakes posted on ebay in the past. |

Oh, I could make out the other name, it was the fact the seller knew who the other artist was, but refused to tell me his first name or give me any indication about verifying who he actually was. Mainly so I could check on what other work that person had done etc. Being so secretive put me off bidding.

^ It was the silver surfer's true identity, Norin Radd. This was discussed in PPPH's collection thread. It was being sold previously by Anthony'scomicart. The other 2 pieces were sold a while back on KE's website. Something does seem a bit off, I could've swore there was a bid in on the PL pencil sketch... weird

That "Eastman " looks way off. I wouldn't touch it without an authentication from Kevin. My guess is its fan art . Either that or a straight up fake.

Nice! Rousseu is on the list to get work from. I want him to draw in my Cap book. I didn't even notice this one on the CAPS eBay page.
This arrived today, #57 pg 8. Seven more CAW issues to go. Karma is an amazing thing when you believe it is. Seller got pages he was looking for the day after selling this. We both happy ![]() Spoiler:

Love that page, nice pickup! Great condition too. My Splinter page from #55 is a little bit yellowed..I think it's from the frame I had it in for years...

I have a few pages that are a bit yellowed. It's a trait of duo-shade paper. I change out my framed OA regularly to avoid prolonged exposure; use comic backboard(life magazine size) behind the page. Cheap DIY archival...

I imagine it's a reaction between a component in the duo shade and UV in the light. Other items are known to do similar, especially the grey plastic shells of Super Nintendo consoles...

UVA/UVB reaction to the toning chemicals and paper. Generally, almost everything fades over time from prolonged exposure to the elements(smoke too). The better your storage practices are, the better the shelf life of your collectibles. Not sure how big the iron-ons are. I use 4mil mylars for all long term storage(comics anyway), no backboard in the bag and a comic toploader to keep the mylar rigid in the comic box. I might put a backboard in the toploader for added support. Mylar isn't cheap, but is much better for storage than polypro bags. Mylar withstands sun light much better than poly pro and is considered "archival" grade.

Most of my collectibles which have yellowed over time (including action figure bubbles, OA, etc. seem to be items that I once had displayed to uv light for a prolonged period of time. However the yellowing happened years after I took them out of the uv light. Right now none of my collectibles are on display, and the original art is in a portfolio. I think I need some of those mylars.
