Yeah, but like Talbot it took me a long time to get ahold of him. And when I did, I was shocked to hear what he was charging for what I recieved. A little too much, IMO. But my wallet took the hit because Rocko means alot to me so I felt like I needed something by him regardless of price. Powder, PM me if you want details.

Freakin' frustrated. Been waiting on a commission, I was told to allow up to 8 weeks for completion/shipment & it's been 12 or more.
3 weeks ago I was hit up with "I am so very sorry about the delay for this work of art. I'll be seeing **** in the morning and he is bringing your commission with him so we should be sending that out to you this week. I haven't seen it yet but as I say I am anticipating his bringing it with him tomorrow morning." from their assistant, but none of my emails have been replied to since then. Not cool... Time's been passing, I dropped cashola with nothin' to show for it.

You should say to them what you just said to us.

Also, there is only one TMNT artist who has an assistant

A fun piece of art I got commissioned.

Had it made by an artist at an Anime Convention in St. Louis. His name is Nick Minor. He has some Deviant Art stuff. I just impulse bought it. It's of Future Raph and Ninjara from the Archie Comics series of comics.

Berger

After seeing the Rocksteady and Beebop which is insanely awesome, I hit Dan up for my second commission piece (both by him). I ask for Tokkah and Razhar with a garbage dump background. I think it looks great!

Let me know what you all think:

I think it's super duper amazin'. I love Dan's work, if I were made of dough I'd buy a new piece every week. His turtles are awesome, but it's the secondary characters that he blows right outta the ballpark. When you sell that on ebay, I may bid.

Love the Berger stuff. I'm telling you, Dan is my favorite Mirage artist, and for good reason. Great stuff. I should have some Berger art to post in here really soon...

Spoiler:
As I mentioned in the cgc forums...GREAT pre-90's piece. I believe it was originally drawn as a gift for Steve Murphy.

Thanks. Yes, I especially like this particular style Kevin drew with for the late 80's.

My first background layout from the Original Series!

Sure, most of the art here is devoted to the comics, but I happened to purchase my first layout from the original 1987 series. On the the top it says "Ninja Turtles- Tv Room, Turtles Lair" with a serial number of BG 6-A /9061-010. I compared it in size to those standard issue cels with reproduction backgrounds, and it is about an inch wider and an inch shorter. It included a cel with all four turtles (well half of Leo) and Casey as a bonus.

Beautiful. Actual painted backgrounds from the show are decently difficult to find. SO many cels come with reproduction backgrounds. Nice find.
