Fortnite Chapter 5 teases TMNT

Fortnite put out a trailer for there upcoming Chapter 5, and they teased a collaboration with TMNT.







There's a Tiger character that's gonna be a part of Chapter 5, He's giving me Tiger Claw vibes, His name is Oscar.

NEVER played fortnite in my life. But I really love the four turtles and april designs for this game. I think I will finally cave and download it, maybe buy the bundle that has the turtles. might get april too

Fortnite becomes Super Smash Bros, but for the pop-culture.

I've played it for maybe 30 minutes Couldn't figure out what to do, someone killed me and I uninstalled the game. Speaks volumes about how much interest I had in it, in the first place, LOL.

So, my playtime in this game was extremely brief. I have no idea what exactly is this game nowadays and honestly don't care, but glad for people who like it.

As for TMNT designs - funny, but they look almost like updated Next Mutation designs (from the concept arts, not a series proper). Also, now that's April! Accept no substitutes as they say.

Look how easy it is to make turtle and april designs that look both authentic and yet still fresh and new. if only more attempts to 'modernize' the turtles would take such an approach.

Now I'm also wondering if any companies can or will make toy versions of the fortnite turtles.

Nah, modern creators are so brimming with creativity, they need to butcher all design and raceswap characters. Otherwise no-one will remember them. At least, that's what they think.

There is definitely a similarity.
Like a combination of designs from Next Mutation (white bands, lots of belts and bandanna on Raph), movies (general bodyshape) and 2k7 movie (headshape) and 2k3 (colors and Mikey expression)

I don't understand these Fortnite skins. Are they just as they seem, skins for the playable character (costumes?), but they're only offered for sale a limited time and then they disappear?

Downloaded and played Fortnite for the first time today on my PS5. I suck, but it's pretty fun. I still don't really understand how the skins work. Do I need battle pass to get the turtles? Anyway, excited for them to drop.

Unless theyre tied to the battle pass, no. Theyll drop and be available for a few days then the skins rotate to the next one.

I do not like seeing the Turtles use guns.

Yeah, Turtles with guns are weird.
Also, they are so tall in this version. I got used to them being shorter and "buffer", if it makes sense.

But overall looks pretty cool, even if I am not fan of a bandanna on Raph.
