Shades of Gray - part two (vol. 1 #49). The tension between him and Casey is Mirage at its best.

There were a LOT of good Donatello sci-fi stories in Tales V. 2 I remember, almost all of them Star Trek-ish. There was one with the Triceratons and Styracons finding out they had a common ancestor in space (which makes sense), and that was good one. The J'gel story, the one where Fugitoid isn't sure whether he's really Prof. Honeycutt or just a transplanted memory of his real self.
Tales. V. 2 was really underrated. There were a lot of gems there nobody ever talks about, probably because Tales is too "modern" and a lot of people don't think of the series when they think of Mirage since the issues came out between 2004-2010...but at 70 issues there's some really good stuff there. |

I suspect you'd enjoy. It has a new story about Professor Obligado, for one.

Also, wow, I'm actually having trouble remembering any stories where Donatello had the starring role. Most of the ones that come to mind have already been mentioned here, and the only other ones I can think of are a few issues of Tales vol. 2, but they weren't exactly Pulitzer material, if you catch my drift. Also Brain Thief, but that one is just straight up bad. Last edited by Zog The Magnificent; 08-25-2021 at 05:08 PM. |

I'll say Old times from Plastron Cafe #1.
