There were a LOT of good Donatello sci-fi stories in Tales V. 2 I remember, almost all of them Star Trek-ish. There was one with the Triceratons and Styracons finding out they had a common ancestor in space (which makes sense), and that was good one. The J'gel story, the one where Fugitoid isn't sure whether he's really Prof. Honeycutt or just a transplanted memory of his real self.

Tales. V. 2 was really underrated. There were a lot of gems there nobody ever talks about, probably because Tales is too "modern" and a lot of people don't think of the series when they think of Mirage since the issues came out between 2004-2010...but at 70 issues there's some really good stuff there.

That's because it's self published and fan made by a Technodrome forum member, albeit of very good quality.

Who are we kidding, it's of a higher quality and authenticity then many of the "official" stories. The Fan Team here have put out some quality stuff over the years. It's honorary canon as far as I'm concerned.

Also, wow, I'm actually having trouble remembering any stories where Donatello had the starring role. Most of the ones that come to mind have already been mentioned here, and the only other ones I can think of are a few issues of Tales vol. 2, but they weren't exactly Pulitzer material, if you catch my drift. Also Brain Thief, but that one is just straight up bad.
