Is anyone else noticing the parallels here? The very first arc of this comic had Hob as an antagonist leading a gang of thugs, same as the first arc after #100, and now the Turtles are back to busting Mousers while Stockman pulls the strings from behind the scenes just like in the second arc...

Same. I wouldn?t mind the occasional ninja gear outfit, but they looks silly AF wearing lounge about play clothes. Or in the last pics it?s as if they?re all trying to coordinate with what the girl turtle is wearing. This comic needs an injection of whatever Sally is on.

The comic at least doesn't do outfits as terribly as the Platinum Dunes movies... but that's a low bar.

Also, Powder already said it best an issue or two ago. But this is feeling like very cringy fanfic.

They're in mutant town. Most likely when they leave they won't wear clothes anymore.

We'll see.

If they were sporting nostrils, you wouldn't be taking this nearly so calmly.

I’d make a joke about all the pouches and whether this was the Image book, but I am suddenly hit with the inventory possibilities. I wouldn’t mind if the Turtles pulled out some more creative tools during a mission like this.

I really don't mind that the Turtles are wearing clothes, because at least so far their outfits have seemed "realistic" (I realize that's a loaded word in this context...)

however I AM very irritated by the typo on the second page of the preview

To be honest there's been loads of typos before now, it's just an inevitable aspect of long form writing.
I also hadn't noticed until you pointed it out (Leo's bubble right?)

I like the clothing. It just makes sense to me and helps me settle into the world. The constant walking around in knee-pads and masks, that we see in some iterations of tmnt, is a bigger offender. Not to say that those are your only two options.

Yeah, personally I think old trope of male anthros being barely clothed compared to their female counterparts is pointless and idiotic for a multitude of reasons and should really be tossed in the trash by now.

Yeah, I hate that kinda sh*t. When I was a kid I actually used to take a pen and "fix" stuff like that in my comics when it happened.

Happened a lot less often Back Then than it does Now, I'll tell ya that for free. Comics, magazines, "news" articles... it's like nobody can be bothered to hire a proofreader, anymore. Standards have seriously slipped across the board. I can't read a single Anything anymore without seeing some sh*t I would'a gotten Red Pen'ed for back in the second grade. Intolerable.

I know we're not supposed to care anymore about stuff like that, but I do.
