Classics Rocksteady - Close Grey Paint Approximation
Well, I know I'm not the only one bothered by the lack of grey on the neck of the Classics Rocksteady figure. So, I thought maybe I could get the community involved in finding a close paint approximation for those that want to remedy the factory oversight.
Personally, I prefer to try and find paint that works right out of the jar instead of having to mix to find the right shade, but I have yet to find a brand and color that works right out of the jar. Has anyone else had any luck? If so, please share the brand and color, and if possible, show a picture of where you painted the neck using the brand and color that you mention. I'll continue trying to find a grey that works myself, but maybe someone has already been fortunate enough to have found one and can help some of us save some money.

Grey is used alot in military models, you can probably find a close match here:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/items/paints-amp-finishes-60 If you don't use Tamiya, the name of the color should be similar to another brand, (Testors, Gunze Sangyo, etc.) |
