Whoever makes the schedule needs to fix this so it's all Turtles all the time and not going to agitate people who prefer a certain cartoon. For instance, the Nicktoon does not have re-watch ability and younger fans might not been into the dominace of stock images of the '87 cartoon and see it as definitive like me. Then there is the well structured 2003 cartoon.

For the longest time, months and months if memory serves Totally Turtles cycled through 30 random episodes of the 2003 cartoon and 2012 cartoon without consideration of continuity or airing the different series in their entirety.

Back to it? Starting to think someone just has all the eps of all series tacked to a bulletin board and blindly throw darts at it.

And it’s on again today! They skipped Case of the Killer Pizzas again only they’re not replacing it with another episode and went straight to Enter The Fly.

Today’s episodes are Enter The Fly through Beneath These Streets.

At least Catwoman from Channel Six aired. I wonder why the aversion to Case of the Killer Pizzas?

It’s mondo bizarro how they keep skipping that one specifically. Maybe they feel the creatures are just too similar to xenomorphs to show it but then why sell the episode digitally and stream it on Paramount Plus? I guess we should just be glad they aren’t entirely hiding it.

Seems like they'll show '87 again next Monday and Tuesday (as it looks like 2012 is airing again tomorrow and probably Thursday). I wonder if they'll ever wedge 2k3 into the schedule.

It would help if it was 7 days a week! That would solve the problem of not being oversaturated on one cartoon and people not feel divisive towards the lack of airing another more to his or her preferences. Give Airbender and Danny Phantom and whatever that other one is called another channel. I would love a healthy airing schedule for both the 1987 cartoon and 2003 cartoon.

Am I alone in not feeling the 2012 Nicktoon for having rewatchability?

I rewatched it in full 3 times since it ended, so it's likely due to your age.

That's a little awkwardly worded, did you mean to imply the 2012 cartoon doesn't hold up on multiple viewings?

If so then I might agree. On multiple viewings you will notice problems like:
  • How the Utroms are initially stated to be Kraang having split from the hivemind, only to later be stated as being the uncorrupted form of the Kraang.
  • Tiger Claw stating that he lost his tail to a male adversary, only to later find out this enemy was female.
  • The Kraang making a big deal out of repairing the Technodrome on the bottom of the ocean, even though we already knew they had plenty lying around.
  • Splinter dying or having been implied to die multiple times for cheap drama.
  • Baxter Stockman claiming he didn't reverse his own mutation because he liked his mutant fly form, even though he did initially attempt to cure himself and never successfully reverted any other mutations.
  • The retromutagen being stated to being very hard to synthesize in order to avoid liberal use of it, even though it turned out the proper dosage was absurdly small and there eventually being a situation in which a massive quantity was created by accident had to happen, because the plot demanded it.
  • There being a literal David Wise style shameless recycling during the space arc.
Etc, Etc, Etc. The show just didn't have a very solid plot.

Nah.

I'll prob get there someday when I can enjoy a full rewatch, but the show is still far too recent and, while I loved it when it was on, I've already seen a million repeats to the point that I've seen enough of it for the time being.

edit: Also I think it's partly that I'm getting tired of over-concentrating on the "teen" part of the title. 2012 did it, made them seem younger in terms of personality and designs, and that was fine for that show since it was just THAT show, but now Rise and a new movie with a coming series have done it and that angle has gotten old, even with 2012 repeats. The palate cleanser I'm really feeling the need for now is a 2003-ish kind of show; something fine for older kids to see, but is no longer slogging around in the particularly juvenile quagmire we're currently still caught in.

Yes,that is exactly what I meant.

The 1987 cartoon is fun to watch and engaging as the humor fits me and I enjoythe character set. The 2003 cartoon while serialized is easy to get into. The 2012 cartoon is trying to be catering to an older audience but has immature jokes and can't seem to hold to a direcion or plot unable to cater a wider net unlike the previous two cartoons for different reasons. It is not something that I can really get into on a rewatch.

For today’s episodes, “Turtles on Trial” and “Sky Turtles” remain skipped, while “The Fifth Turtle” is airing for the first time.

Monday November 6th airings 38-45

Camera Bugged
Green with Jealousy
Return of the Fly
Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero
Mutagen Monster
Corporate Raiders from Dimension X
Pizza By the Shred
Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady

Tuesday November 7th airings 46-53

Beware the Lotus
Blast from the Past
Leatherhead: Terror of the Swamp
Michaelangelo's Birthday
Usagi Yojimbo
Case of the Hot Kimono
Usagi Come Home
The Making of Metalhead

No skips but nothing new

Seems they’ll stick to running the OG on Monday and Tuesday, 2012 on Wednesday and Thursday, Danny Phantom on Friday, Legend of Korra on Saturday and Avatar TLA on Sunday. Making no use of 2003 or Rise and still skipping some episodes of OG.

And they did. It’s Planet of the Turtleoids instead, with Name That Toon also skipped. Other than that it’s Shredder’s Mom through Superhero for a Day.

Turtlemaniac ep (1990), the crazy collector mentions once having had a pet turtle named Rosebud. Which is exactly what I named a visiting wild box turtle once (went to kindergarten show-and-tell before being released at my grandparents property the following weekend) when I was five in 1984. Cue spooky sound effect. O.o
