Cool! I finished off my Simpsons set (all 16) on Thursday, was so happy to get that done with because once people get wind that these are out (or exist at all) they are going to be hard to locate, similar to the LEGO Movie minifig series!

Actually I am just a few figures away from having *two* complete sets, good to have extras for trading down the road. Especially of the more popular characters like Bart and Homer, or of the ones with 'rare' or 'interesting' parts such as Scratchy (he has a tail piece that is totally new)

Great pick-ups all! Haven't posted in a while, been busy lately.
Was able to catch up with most of my Instagraming, although I still have some to do. (Link in sig)

Also received notification that my NECA 1/4 Arkham Origins Batman is on the way. Can't wait, as this one looks great.

Heyyy, I got a Universal Monsters Renfield doll

(This is a picture of the prototype, but the final one looks pretty much the same)

Probably the creepiest-looking toy that I own, not that I have many creepy toys to begin with.

Got the fifteen packs of the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set, Dragons of Legend (Collecting quite a few unreleased cards from the four anime series') that I ordered a while a go in from ToyWiz today:

EXTREMELY satisfied with my pulls, as I got next to no secret rare doubles and way more of the cards that I wanted than I expected. Namely, DESE BAD BOYZ:

Timaeus FTW. Another pic of these two, along with some of the other notables secrets that I snagged:

Definitely gonna pick up some more in the future.

5/2 edit:

This arrived today from Rightstuf:

Pokémon Adventures Volume 22 (Book)

Finally caved...

LOVE Swamp Thing as a character so very much. But this is a pretty expensive figure. He's huge though, and very detailed with nice accessories. I think it was worth $40 all said.

Can't wait to get it. DC Collectibles figures are really nice.

Does anyone have the Mattel version?

I also want to get this version but I'm not sure yet. At one point I had it ordered but the order got cancelled from BBTS (talked about it in this thread)

I have the Mattel version. Its made of that soft/gooey textured material, so it feels kind of mossy. He's also huge. Seems too big to be in scale with the other Mattel DCU figures.

Two recent toy purchases that have arrived:

I like my plushies [larger one is the new one]. Very soft material, 12 inches, incredibly satisfied. Going to get her brother soon.

Top. Original 1997 Digimon vpet that I found for a pretty nice deal. Another one I'm super happy with. [The Xros Wars mini, pictured below, isn't as high quality; wouldn't necessarily recommend.]

Today I found two surprises at TRU and was very glad I decided to stop in!

NECA Godzilla (12 inch from nose to tail version), 18.99. AWESOME figure, so much articulation! You'd think a godzilla would be fairly stationary because of the shape of his body, but NECA managed to give him a fair bit of pose options. Mouth opens/closes of course, but you can also turn his head, neck, waist, tail (in many spots), legs, feet... pretty much anywhere they COULD put articulation they did. This figure is GREAT and for under $20 I think it's a steal.

NECA Planet of the Apes. I saw all 3 on the shelf (Caesar, Koba and Maurice). I had several things I was buying today so I ONLY got Caesar but I think the other two are GREAT as well. Wow --- really love this figure. Comes with swappable hands, great joint movement all over, nice weapons, paint is really phenomenal... I really wish NECA would get the tmnt license again! Sadly TRU wanted 21.99 for these, 3 dollars more than Godzilla... not sure why.

I am most definitely going to get Koba and maybe Maurice in the future.

Awesome Godzilla figs... they're on there way to me. Hope they arrive by the weekend.

Added a few more to Instagram, some of which I picked up at our recent ComicCon, where I met some of my Horror film idols. Amazing time!

Yeah I'm really happy with the Godzilla. I'm not sure if I'll buy the 24 inch version they are putting out, but that one would give me a lot more options to use it for, because while the 12" one looks great and is priced very well, it's a little small

Well, today I caved a little bit and bought some Transformers: Age of Extinction figures on amazon because of their Buy 1 Get 1 50% promo for all the AoE stuff.

So I got:
Evasion Mode Optimus (voyager)
Grimlock (dinobot, voyager)

and in a seperate order:
scorn (dinobot, deluxe size)
slug (dinobog, deluxe size)

pretty happy with this haul. got all of it for about $75 with free 2 day shipping.

I'm not big into transformers but I do really like the Dinobots, so I think I'm going to collect all of those (deluxe and voyager only... I don't like the other sizes very much)

I've been watching a lot of youtube reviews and Scorn definitely seems like a huge hit, everyone seems to be loving that figure. And he definitely looks fantastic, can't wait to get him. Evasion Optimus also looks VERY badass, only 3 complaints: low on paint apps, no faceplate and the way he holds his gun looks a little weird... none of which bother me (i have other weapons, and the faceplate isn't a huge deal to me... this will be my first bayformers optimus, i have several versions with faceplates already)... though more paint would always be nice.

The Leader class bots use a lot of chrome and I don't think it looks that great on them. Also Leader Grimlock looks weird in Dino mode... while voyager grimlock isn't perfect, I think it's a little better looking for my tastes.

TF4 Grimlock is definitely an interesting new design. I hope I end up liking it. If not? Well, I already own this version... so I can't go wrong:

WHEW... okay, I really need to curb my impulse buys... I have a *TON* of stuff coming up this summer I need to buy.

So, I was upstate for a wedding, and had a few hours to kill. I ended up hitting a walmart in the middle of nowhere, and lucked out. I found a Spider-Man legends Carnage and Black Cat.

I only snagged Carnage, cause I could live without the Black Cat. I figure, I lucked out with Carnage, might as well let someone have a chance for a figure they want too.
