Ghostbuster Cast revealed for Reboot

i'm tired of ranting about this thing.

About the only good thing that came out of it is that it seems to have killed feigs career and slowed down mcarthy's.

Sandra Bullock, who is starring in the all-female spin-off of Ocean's Eleven, is aware of the backlash that the Ghostbusters cast received.

When it was announced there would be an all-female cast of Ghostbusters, those actresses were put through hell. Has it been the same for the cast of Oceans 8?

They did put them through hell. And I’m still trying to figure out why. Forget what the final product was! There were four or five of the most talented comediennes in that film. Everyone should’ve just taken a breath and said, “let’s see what happens.” It doesn’t take just five people to make a movie. It’s pretty much like around 300. So I keep reminding everybody, if you hate my film remember there’s another 299 people all around me. We’re not a reboot. We’re just a this is what’s happening in 2017. It’s not even a passing of the torch. It’s a parallel story of another family member that was raised in the same family Danny Ocean was and what happens when Debbie steps out of jail with all of these amazing, powerful women.

she's got to promote this thing. we get it. but no one can be that clueless on why people thought feigbusters was a bad idea.

all you had to do was see feigs previous work to know it was NOT the right fit, and read all the behind the scenes info to know it wasn't being done for the right reasons.

if you didn't, you where either a fan boy who loved anything with the ghostbusters logo on it and couldn't be subjective, or one of andrews infamous plants.

and then there are people who just love paul feig movies for whatever reason, and they are a whole nother interesting category.

By far, one of the worst f*cking movies I've ever seen. Maybe THE worst. "Meet The Feebles" is pretty bad but it also wasn't trying to be any good.

He'd be pretty stupid to think fans have no say in where a franchise should go. while their voice doesn't count in the long creative process...it DOES have a say in things. Look at Sonic and the design changes made because of fans.
