I looked around the website and there's really like no past models available for purchase. Once they're up for sale and sold out, they're gone forever. I guess that's the norm for hot toys and the like..

Given the lead time, they probably set the production number largely based on the number of preorders and retailer orders that they receive. For a small company like this, holding on to a bunch of unsold figures is just too much overhead to manage without going out of business.

^Ah, that's probably how they do it I reckon. Q3 is pretty far away and that gives them enough time to produce and deliver the figures.

But if you really want them, order them now while pre orders are open...nothing worse than waiting too long and then ending up at the mercy of scalpers. |

TBH I don't think these TMNT figures are going to sell through that fast. |

Still, even with Hot Toys I don't think they had ever really reissued any figures. They do make second versions based on demand. The only reissue I am aware of the their Bank Robber Joker from The Dark Knight. |

If you guys don't want to pay full price initially, SideshowCollectibles has these for sale as well and they allow flex payment. Plus, after these have been on the market for a while, you can use discount codes on them and save at least $20 (you'd have to sign up for their newsletter).

I'd get one if they ever release Donnie. Kind of shame that Don isn't really getting production in a lot of toy lines now anymore. Kind of sucks for us that really collect on the Don merch.

Since I'm a huge Raph fan, I would've liked if they released him first but that's not the way it turned out. I wouldn't worry about Donnie getting released though. He's sure to come. They'd be fools not to cash in on making the last two.

I went through Threezero to get the discounted 2 pack. I know I'm going to regret missing them even though I don't really want Leo. It's just easier to sell what I don't want at the end than hunting down what I missed for a fair price.
I missed on the Hot Toys Superman Returns figure and still kind of regret not pre-ordering back then. I'm wondering if Threezero is just planning on releasing the 4 Turtles and call it a year.... So far all the questions asking if they will make Shredder or April have been sentences that basically means "NO" or "Not yes". |
