I'm at a loss at why that'd be a positive and not a negative. You want the Turtles' actual movie weapons to look like some cheap plastic accessory a toy company made 40 years ago? I mean, as a kid I wouldn't have even wanted that then for a movie, when I was playing with the toys.

I think the idea of these being based around bringing those old figures to life is exciting. Maybe its purely nostalgia talking.

Really hoping we get the spider-verse comic animation look/style - I'm reserving my final judgement til we see anything in motion

The schedule for CinemaCon 2023 is now up, Paramount will have a presentation on April 27, Its possible we will get news about TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Perhaps footage will be shown, and maybe a trailer? Who knows.

not sure but i hope soon. between the tony hawk and spider-verse comparisons + the concept art, i'm pretty excited. the official art diminished my hype a little, but i'm trying to hold judgement until we see them in motion.

betting on a teaser in early march and a trailer in late april? im sure toys would have to be on shelves in may-june to maximize marketing before august.

i really liked the style of the initial concept art and still think the turtle designs look good disregarding Mikey's football head and the belt buckles. the leaked storyboards are worrying fs but i have no idea what the context is so i'm trying to put them out of mind until we have a better idea of the direction.

tbh i dont mind the braces much in that art or donnie's glasses. i feel like they weirdly work in the key art even though im normally opposed to glasses on donnie specifically.
