Bishop an Utrom!?

somebody may have already brought this up but does anyone else here think that Bishop is an utrom? he was in fast forward and we have seen pictures of him way back in the 1800's and he knew all this crap about outer space (remember in that episode with the fugitoid that even he couldn't read some of the langueges on a train or something), there's no way he's not an utrom. i'm pretty mad that that's unsettled. but i think they wanted us to figure it out.

This is all explained on the series. He stays alive and powerful due to his genetic manipulations, and is able to read certain alien texts because he's studied them extensively.

He's a human who's kept himself alive thru science. He's a clone like the Asgards in Stargate. He transfers his memories to another clone every once in a while and the previous clone melts away (it's rather gross).

No. Utroms are not disembodied brains. They're just little weird aliens.
Have you even seen what a brain looks like?

The writers who created Krang (based on the utrom design) made him a brain because of pure ignorance. They didn't read the comic books, and they probably never looked in an anatomy book. So they just assumed "Hmm... little round fella with beady eyes, toothy mouth, tentacle arms and stubby little feet-like things. It must be a brain, because that's what brains look like, right?".
This is what happens when gradeschool drop-outs become writers.

Maybe they just thought it would be a fun idea for a kids show...he is an alien after all whose body was stolen from him so it's not like he's just some random brain.

FYI Krang was created by Eastman and Laird for the show.

That's news to me, but I'll take your word for it.

And yeah, I get that making Krang a brain instead of an utrom would make it easier for the wee kiddies to understand. But that's also rather insulting. Kids aren't that dumb. They'll understand that utroms are little strange aliens from outer space. Making Krang just a brain over-simplifies it. It wasn't necessary.
