Also one of the dumbest villains yet, Bloodwork. And I guess the villain is a gender-swapped Red Death. So far all of the female big bads they've rolled out have been abysmally terrible and I wouldn't expect this to be an exception.

the first gender swap was mirror master. could have been a fun villain, but turned into 'man stole everything, now revenge' standard. ugh.

OK, I'm watching the next few episodes. Huh. This stuff with Ronnie Raymond and Deathstorm is actually pretty interesting. The emotional hook with Caitlin is the first time I've felt anything for the character in many seasons. And they're actually making good use of her and Frost.

Is this some setting up of a Green Lantern-less Blackest Night event?

She's like a superhero patrolling now. But they're just making it up as they go and nothing about her remotely is working.

Also, it's a little creepy they never show this baby her and Joe just had. Like ever, anymore. It's like this inconvenient thing for them to even so much as bring up.

Good. Doesn't deserve one. That was a show that hadn't managed to not be all-out terrible for quite a few seasons.

Episode 2 of the new/final season should be taught as a writer's class as to what not to do. Egads. So horrible. So boring. Like something buddies might churn out if given the chance in the 10th grade.

Trudging on with this season. They really want to burn episodes of the final season with Caitlin struggling with her identity again, now with a third identity? What a bunch of bullsh**. These writers can't even do arcs anymore, just swap in new characters and play with identity crises. And where is the recast Ralph Dibney? We're OK with just trashing a season and a half worth of development?

More awful female villains, empty speechifying and wheels spinning. This is just the worst.
