Gianluca Vialli has passed away

Italian former soccer player and coach Gianluca Vialli passed away today, Friday, suffering from cancer. He was born on 9 July 1964. Playing as a striker, he scored successes with US Cremonese, UC Sampdoria and Juventus FC, and won the Italian A League wih both UC Sampdoria and Juventus FC. The 1995–1996 season also saw him winning the UEFA Champions League with Juventus FC. In Mid 1996, he signed for Chelsea FC in the English FA Premier League where he completed his career with three seasons.

With Team Italy, he won a bronze medal when the FIFA World Cup was played in Italy in June and July 1990.
