And yet you've never lightly caressed a book's cover with one hand, smiling fondly down at the cover art as you prepare to gently part the pages and enjoy a brand new (or fondly remembered) adventure.

Sure, buddy.

Is the Funkopop issue IDW's comic book Turtles or Nick's animated Turtles?

Actually it's the Fred Wolf Turtles. It is basically about how the typical Fred Wolf episode has a villain plan that makes no sense and has no clear end goal while what follows is typically nonsense. The plot for the particular issue is about Krang wanting to turn children into minions through cereal, explicitly for no reason at all.

Yes because as you know an episode the Fred Wolf series had 20 minutes to have a detailed and developed plot...

Don't blame me, blame Caleb Goellner, he's the one who wrote the issue.

I personally use the IDW Collections to know what is considered canon in this TMNT world and what isn't (as far as this IDW TMNT universe is concerned). With that said, I noticed that Infestation 2 isn't included, so I guess it isn't canon. It seems Infestation 2 isn't canon in some other titles like Transformers which doesn't have it in it's IDW Collection. Neither does GI Joe but I don't think it's IDW Collection has caught up yet. Interestingly, I guess IDW considered the original Infestation to be canon since both Transformers and GI Joe have their respective Infestation stories in their IDW Collections.

Bobby has said "Infestation" was only left out due to space...

The only things blatantly not canon are the Batman crossovers which are all set in their unique universe, and I guess the X-files crossover? I pretty much forgot about it. Even the Usagi crossover is confirmed to be canon and will be in the collections.

Stuff like Deviations and 20/20 are canon in an alternate universe/future type of way.

To be fair individual issues were longer back then at 22 pages instead of 20 and Volume 1 is pretty packed as it is.

I've worked out the following, but it's also hard working out where the various back-up stories go, however they'll be spread out in some fashion across Volumes 10 and 11:

Volume 10 (Krang cover)
73 - 75, Universe 19 - 20, Ghostbusters II 1 - 5, FCBD'17, Dimension X 1 - 5

Volume 11 (Triceraton/ Rat King cover?)
76 - 84, Universe 16 - 18 + 21 - 25

Volume 12 (Bishop cover?)
85 - 89, Hit the Road 1 - 5, Macro 1 - 4

Volume 13 (Karai cover?)
90 - 100, Shredder in Hell 1 - 5, FCBD'19

I think it's also safe to say that #100 will be at least a double length issue if not bigger, but naturally there's no guarantee.

Seems we all guessed correctly that Krang would be gracing Volume 10's cover, just maybe not with that spine colour.

Well, that's good to know. It confused me that "Infestation" was in Transformers and GI Joe IDW Collections but not "Infestation 2" in either. I guess it was decided to not use up space on some these side stories.

Assuming this pre-release info is correct, is there a reason TMNT Universe would skip issues 16-18?

I'm guessing, but those three issues are Triceraton related. They might be holding them till the following collection when the Triceraton Invasion issues in the ongoing begin.

Chronological order. #19-20 actually take place BEFORE the Triceraton invasion.

Ok, so Volume 10's cover and contents were fairly easy to call, so I'm gonna stick to my predictions for 11 - 13 with a few additions:

Volume 11 (Casey/ Triceraton/ Rat King cover?)
76 - 84, Universe 16 - 18 + 21 - 25

Volume 12 (Old Hob/ Bishop cover?)
85 - 89, Hit the Road 1 - 5, Macro 1 - 4

Volume 13 (Karai cover?)
90 - 100, Shredder in Hell 1 - 5, FCBD'19

Still not sure about where all the back-up stories go though.
