What do you think are the Turtles favourite video games?

Thought this would be fun.

Obviously, with all the different incarnations from different eras, the preferences will vary.

Leonardo: Doesn't strike me as much of a gamer, really. In any version I've seen/read. But I can imagine him being a fan of games like Zelda and Okami.

Raphael: 2k3 Raph definitely must like fighting games. Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, etc. FW Raphael probably has a more general taste in games. Can imagine him playing Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Pac-man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, etc. Mirage Raph? When the comic book came out, fighting games weren't really a thing. The genre did not take off until the early 90s when Street Fighter 2 came out. So I guess he just played Space Invaders and Mega Man or something.

Donatello: Since he's really into technology, I can imagine him taking an interest in games. I could see FW Donatello playing RPGs. Same goes for 2k3 Don. Not to mention some strategy type of games as well.

Michelangelo: Probably the biggest gamer of the bunch. All of his incarnations most likely play the biggest contemporary titles of the era. I'm sure 2k3 Mikey was playing the Wii in 2006-2007. I can certainly imagine him playing Wii Sports.

Leonardo: Sekiro, Souls games, challenging singleplayer games in general, maybe some open-world stuff.

Raphael: fighting game (Tekken?), so he could **** on opponents in-between the matches.

FW Raphael: powerwash simulator.

Michelangelo: Super Smash Bros.

Michelangelo 2k12: ****** mobile RPG, which installs viruses on your PC.

FW Michelangelo: some casual game, like Animal Crossing, just to kill some time and chat.

Donatello: Minecraft, Minecraft, Minecraft, also JRPGs and some obscure CRPGs, though he would play them not for story, but for optimized builds, experiments and number crunching (no toxicity, of course).

There are different video games in different TMNT universes. Remember Tempestra's Revenge?

Also, especially the Fred Wolf and 4 Kids series take place many years before the releases of many titles mentioned here.

I can see 2k3 Leonardo playing Zelda and Okami, 2012 Leonardo would be into sci-fi games like Metroid or Starfox

didn't Fred wolf Leonardo enjoy the arcade though?

The Showdown from Season 9 also indicates that Michaelangelo likes fighting games as well, though maybe that was influenced by Carter.

He did, in fact he got hooked on the Tempestra game in Tempestra’s Revenge.

In the beginning of The Grybyx, the turtles were playing some kind of video game and had a bet that the loser has to pay for the pizza. They also played some game in Raphael versus the Volcano, they got interrupted both times.

I completely forgot about the Tempestra episode. And also forgot about the Turtles playing at an arcade in the 1st Neutrino episode.

I'm not surprised Donatello enjoying Tetris is canon. That seems like his type of game.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

I don't think that game would exist in their world. But now I do want to see them play it.
