I noticed that too. Rise!Donnie is particularly egregious.

Leah, Micah, Donna and Raphaela, the Teenage Mutant Tweenie Turtles!

Mouths, facial shape, and body has feminine curves.

They're anthropomorphized turtles depicted in a comic book illustration version of an animated cartoon's art style; there's nothing inherently masculine or feminine about them

Supposedly The Book Depository has IDW's Volume 7 available already

My comic shop changed ownership this month and pull list have to be redone. With TMNT Universe ending with issue #25 in August when do the four one-shots begin in its place September or later?

Well, I guess I sort of know what #86-90 will be about now.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The IDW Collection Volume 9

Agent Bishop's long-gestating hunt for mutants begins in earnest and no one is safe! The Mutanimals are the first targets, but the Turtles' turn will come soon enough, and they'll be hounded like never before. Alopex and Nobody are looking for a little rest and relaxation but get more than they ask for when they become the unwilling guests of a never-ending party thrown by the hedonistic Toad Baron! Plus, Karai has always embodied the Foot Clan. With the Clan under the control of Splinter, what path will she take during her travels in Japan? Danger and intrigue await her, Koya, and Bludgeon!

Collects issues #67-72 of the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe issues #9-15, and the TMNT/Usagi Yojimbo crossover.

That is some sweet cover art, although admittedly I was expecting Karai for volume 9. Also great that the Usagi crossover is being included.

I'm guessing that Volume 10 will have Krang on the cover and will be featuring Dimension X/ Trial of Krang and the second Ghostbusters crossover and possibly Universe 19 + 20 if they decide to put them ahead of ToK.

Volume 11 should then be the Triceraton arc, Kingdom of Rats and the rest of Universe.

But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I was expecting Karai, hoping for Bishop or Old Hob. But Slash is good, too.

But another yellow spine? Two yellows, two grays, two purples... it's getting a little repetitive in the ol' color department!

These are, without fail, always instant preorders for me. Just need that sweet Amazon link... soon...

Oh, and they're actually including the Usagi crossover? Wow, didn't see that coming! Pretty nifty!

It was obvious the Usagi crossover would be collected since it's canon, and I don't think rights issues would have mattered.

Yeah, it's canon--but so was Infestation, and it didn't matter to the ongoing story and space was an issue.

It was never OBVIOUS, but it is welcome.

I feel like the Usagi issue is gonna stick out like a sore thumb, it's totally without context

Yeah, my personal preference would've been to leave it out. But I'm weird like that.

Honestly, Infestation worked better as a standalone story than the Usagi crossover.

The Usagi crossover would fit great in a Usagi collection, but I feel like they need to do one that skews more towards the Turtles now
