TMNT 2012 action figures at Five Below
It was pretty crowded so I sadly couldn't get any pictures (I will next time I'm there), but I was just at my local Five Below, and was shocked to see a significant amount of wall space dedicated to the original, purple carded TMNT 2012 figures. So many that it honestly seemed like a re-release, there had to be at least 4 full pegs. I only saw Raph and Donnie from the initial first wave, but there could have been others, gonna check back again as soon as I can.
Only 5 bucks each, which is a steal if anyone is still looking for these! I would definitely check your local store if you got one, I'm sure the character selection will defer by location...would be really weird if only Raph and Donnie figures were being shipped. Just wanted to share with you all because I never thought I'd see this line at retail again! |

They are the Italian releases (Giochi Preziosi) for some odd reason, & it's only the four turtles, in uniform packaging. I picked up a Leo for the hell of it just a few weeks back.
They also have Rise figures (again, just the four turtles) that are Five Below exclusives.

Huh, very interesting. Nephew (age 4) definitely seems to like the TMNT so I may have to see what my local store has if any and grab some late ones for him to put away. Thanks for the heads up.

The best figures of the 2k12 toyline were the four basic turtles. I wonder if toy collectors will customize these Five Below figures like they did the American releases.

Huh. I could see picking up another set of those to have on hand for customs, yeah. I don't do much shopping these days (trying to stay away from people as much as I can), but the heads up is appreciated!

You're store lucked out I guess, checked mine today and not a Turtle figure in sight and no obvious space where they might have been.
edit: Not even the 'Rise' ones. A coloring book was the only TMNT (Rise) thing in the place. |

Are these releases the ones without a weapons rack? I think I remember them appearing briefly in the UK around 2014-15
