After reading the Leo macro, it's very strange to see the issue 91 cover with Karai and her mutants looking down at the Turtles so menacingly like they're villains, along with the "City at War" and summary implying a gang war after how they were written in the Leo macro.

Yes it's two different writers and Splinter is likely not going to give up the Foot without a fight, but it seems at odds with what we just read in the Leo issue.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how things play out with how Leo has made peace with what he needs in his life and has found some grounding for himself. And also, basically allowing Karai to take the Foot Clan if he wants.

Well, IDW still has to build suspense for those who opt not to read tie-ins to the main series such as the Leo one-shot. I expect Karai to at least try to abide by the terms of the deal she and Leo agreed upon; I think Splinter will be the one unwilling to listen to reason.
