While I was browsing YouTube, I found this Next Mutation sticker pack. It's got some really cool 2D art of the main characters and even some of the villains in it.

I'm bringing back my old Tumblr for the sake of posting cool/rare stuff, some of which my own, if anyone wants to follow: letskickshell.tumblr.com

Scanned these cool Mello Smello stickers I have from 1990. The art for all but the bottom two was done by Scott Rolfs (who is a cool dude I got to be acquainted with via an art show we both took part in before even knowing he had any official connection to TMNT!).

Japanese Game Cards

Here's some high res scans of the Japanese game cards based off the Mutations toy line. luzmagica posted a few photos years ago, and we know there were at least 10 cards in the set.

Here are all the reverse sides, but I'm still trying to get decent scans of the lenticular fronts:

HP50 to HP1200

HP50 to HP950 [Updated for Raphael score!]

HP50 to HP950

HP50 to HP950

HP1000 to HP1200

HP250 to HP800

HP200 to HP5000

HP1000 to HP2000

HP500 to HP600

HP200 to HP10,000 [Updated for Krang score!]

Those are soooo cool, wow! The official Japanese art for TMNT goods is by far my favorite of the marketing styles. Imagine if we had gotten an anime in that style!

Here's some villains from a UK card game:

It may not be Spanish. Although it's common to see stuff written in English everywhere (as in 'party'), it seems very unlikely that they'd use French ('fête') on a spanish invitation card. I could be wrong, but it probably comes from France.

Oops! I'm not too well versed in other languages, & was told by the person who gave it to me that it was Spanish.

Picked up some more Japan exclusive cards recently, and figured I'd share here.

This is a series (at least 8 cards, but I only own these 5) based on the Super Turtles storyline with artistic excerpts by Hidetsugu Yoshioka (full color versions published in Comic Bom Bom, August 1995 and also included in mini-comics packed with the action figures MT-055 through MT-061).

From what I can gather through online sources, one of these cards was included inside boxes of Kabaya TMNT model kits around 1995. I have seen eight such kits (one for the "Super Turtles" tie-in and one for the Auto-Mutations), but I know there at least 9 cards (2 for each turtle and at least one Shredder), and there was also a 4-fgure set of the normal Mutations series but I don't know if those came with cards:

I recently snagged the Krang Mutation series card, number 10 in the series:

Oddly, he doesn't even have a true "mutation," as the lenticular face of the card simply has him inside and outside his Android body. Furthermore, Krang never even received a transforming action figure in the Mutations toy line, so he really is an odd choice for this card. I don't know if the series continues beyond 10 cards, but one would think Rocksteady, Bebop, Tokka, and Rahazar would have been included in the set to fill out the cross-promotion with the actual toyline.

Do you feel there should have been a Road Ready Mutations Krang in 1993? A giant Mobile Life Support System that transforms into Krang’s Android Body?

I already posted most of these in another thread, but since that one has turned into a cesspool of trolling, I figured they deserved to be in a higher class part fo the Forums.

These are the cards that came with the Japanese releases of the first nine 4Kids figures (MT-04 through MT-09):

The first three cards (which I don't own featured Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael).

The back of the cards seems to be the same on each:

Unfortunately, none of the vehicles came with any special cards or comics.

this thread is great, does anyone have high res art scan of the TMNT 2k3 Trading card game?

It was a simple game that was fun but what was amazing was the original artwork.

Is this the series you had in mind? The artwork is tremendous!

I don't have a full set but I do have a number of them.

I've got a big binder full of old collector cards...including a lot from that game. Great art.

Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. There was going to be an expansion but it never came out but some of the artwork was in the official site. I remember buying a deck and a bunch of booster packs for cheap back in 2005 or so, when the game had already died, the game was fun to play but nothing special with the dozens of licensed TCG products that came out every year back then. But yeah the artwork was amazing and I wish it was archived somewhere, including the set that never came out.

I hadn't heard about any cancelled expansion cards. Got any images saved of that artwork?

I'll try to scan the cards I have sometime.

Some of this stuff is very impressive, I have asked this in the past, but it was quite a while back now.

Michaelangelo's Sewer Exploration Belt came with a 'Mutant ID Chart' with various mini-mutants, Screwloose, Joe Eyeball, Fly-Boy etc.

I would love to see a scan of this as I haven't seen it since 1992!

It was an amazing piece which showed the potential of what mini-mutants were possibly on the horizon in 1990.

Does anyone have a scan of this, or the actual piece?

edit: Box art mentions this in bottom right of package
