Strategy Game Suggestions

I am a huge fan of Civilization 6 and Stellaris. I was wondering if anyone had any favorites along that lines? Already tried HumanKind and it was ok...if not pretty straight forward on clear victory paths.

You might laugh, but some of my favorites are Team17's Worms franchise and the Irrational Games' Freedom Force series. I recently played Sega's Valkyria Chronicles on PS3 for the first time, and it appeals to me.
