So anyone got anything TMNT related for Christmas?

I got surprised by a Christmas gift from one of my buddies, and it was 2 Ninja Turtles comics. The first issue of the IDW TMNT Amazing Adventures and surprisingly an original Mirage comics, Book 30. Upon closer inspection this seems to be during the guest artist era, but wow, it was an original copy, not an IDW reprint (assuming they did those).

Anyone else got any TMNT related stuff?

Nothing TMNT, related. Truthfully there's nothing to buy if you don't collect toys anymore.

Comics are one and done and I already have all the older TMNT comics I need. There's no new DVDs of any of the cartoons out so there's nothing to buy there either.

IDK, there's always stuff like TMNT Pijamas, or TMNT shot glasses, or TMNT shirts, hell, a few Christmases ago I got a TMNT quilt that doubles as a blankie.

I guess I mean more like the um.... TMNT normie stuff, not the actual comics or DVDs.

Nope. Always kind of hope, but usually don't.

Going the other way, I did finally give my nephew the set of 8" Half Shell Heroes plush I'd had put away for him for some years. Most of which (minus Donnie) came from Toys R Us, before they were in close-down mode, if that says anything for how long they've been in hiding.

Wowza, it has been a while since the old store shut down, hasn't it?

I'm lucky one of my previous GeekFuel boxes gave me one of those 'I just wanna be a Toys R Us kid' shirts. I have always, always, ALWAYS wanted one and with the store closed, I saw that one of those things I'd never get off the ol bucket list. I guess I got incredibly lucky.

I got two trades, IDW Jennika 1 and Batman vs TMNT. I also got a Shredder Tiki figure.

That tiki is super hefty, you could knock a person out with it!

I guess if you can knock out a potential burglar with the Shredder Tiki, then we can say there is some stock in that Saki Security Service after all.

Sister and brother-in-law's friend, who I had a small goodie bag for because I wasn't sure if he'd be doing it with us today or not this year (his girlfriend of less than a year had him over for her family's big breakfast they do so he was there) suggested he had something for me (and my uncle) that is/are still in the mail... so if that turns out to be true (or becomes true after he was given gifts), then at most maybe it'll be something TMNT from him. Maybe. Because that's pretty much the only thing he knows I'm into, but that's fine! lol

Nope.

But our dog Zoe has taken a shine to the TMNT blanket my wife gave me as a gift a few years ago. That's pretty cute. Sometimes after getting out of bed she just walks around with it still clinging to her back, like a little cape.

But yeah, nah. No TMNT stuff. Video games and some wrestling/He-Man figures, as per usual. I had a few NECA and Super 7 TMNT figures on the list "just in case" but I knew my wife wasn't gonna be spending the stupid prices those cost. If she did that'd be all I got and she doesn't like to do things that way, she likes to give a lot of gifts not just two or three big/expensive ones.

My sister got me a hoodie with the classic 80s logo on it and a blue t-shirt with an image of 1987 Michelangelo enjoying a slice of pizza.
