That's what I was thinking Donny, I would love to see this as a full series. I had PMed the orginal guy about doing Raph when he first posted this but never heard from him agian. But if this was done as an ongoing series I would rather do Casey.
Whoever does the video would/could add the audio that we send them. |

Well, maybe dude has a life. I sent him/her my Raph audition a bit ago, and have not heard back, but perhaps you know, he/she's just got other things to do.

I guess we should give him some time, since it's only been a few days. However, maybe we could all get some ideas together? How would one go about doing this? I suppose one would have to scan each page in the original comic. I'm also thinking about movement noises - fighting, guns (in the beginning fight) etc. this could be tricky, unless there is somebody who has some audio programs that have these kind of generic noises.
This has great potential. I'm free tonight, I'm going to go through the comic and see if any ideas strike me. I might also go through each character and see how many lines are alotted for each... |

Sorry for going post crazy everyone, but I had some time tonight...
Alright guys, so I just went through the first issue and have written down the page numbers specific to the character that speaks in them. For example, Leonardo: 1-5 would mean that Leo has lines on pages 1-5. The main roles here are most definitely Leonardo, Splinter, and Shredder. Raphael has a decent amount of lines, while Donatello and Michelangelo have very little. The originator of this idea already stated all of the characters in the first issue. So, here are the line counts for each character (if you find any corrections let me know): Leonardo: 1-8, 10, 24-26, 30, 31, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, 40 Saki/Shredder: 15, 22, 23, 25-27, 31-36 Splinter: 10-16, 18 Raphael: 19-22, 24, 25, 30, 32, 35, 39 Donatello: 24, 25, 30, 36, 38 Michelangelo: 10, 24, 25, 39 Purple Dragon/Business Men: 4, 6, 23 Foot: 14, 21 Master Yoshi: 13, 15 Nagi: 13 Baby Turtle: 17 So there you have in full, I believe. I would prefer to voice Donatello and I can give you all a reading audition! I know there a few interested in voicing Raphael, and Raph, if you are up for Splinter, let us all know! If you guys want, we can start doing some auditions or sample readings for various parts... |

I honestly would vote to keep surfer mike at a minimum. I think it would be cooler to portray a different side to mike...

You know I was looking at the video again and realize your right surfer mike is for the cartoony mike, I think mike needs a regular voice, just plain and simple.

Well it depends. If you want it simply like an animatic or as something involving is some actual figure movement... I could , but I am a senior in college and working on a senior project. This means two things.
1. animatic I can bus out pretty quickly. I could do that on free weekends. 2. The more complex pretty version would take me a moment (since I would want to do that in good quality and not rushed) and I couldn't be guaranteed to get that out on a constant schedule in less I waited to work on it during the summer ( in which it would be my main focus). Example of what I mean by Fancy dancy work : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ_wuEMwBUo For both I would need scans provided. Also, things could go faster if there was another person I could partner up with. *EDIT ADD* The help doesn't have to do much. Mostly help me cut out pieces. I can do the actually movement and camera angles in aftereffects or Toonboom or combo of the two.n |

Nice.
Would anybody like to (or does anybody know somebody who would like to) voice the Business Men? Unfortunately, Cowabunga Carl won't be voicing them. If you have a working microphone that records in decent to good quality and are interested, please send me a PM. |

Can I give them funny voices ala Kung Pao? If so I want it. Maybe voice 1 and give the other two to people that haven't participated in this yet.

I'm not familiar with Kung Pao...any YouTube clips or something you know of? I mean, as long as they don't sound like complete arses I suppose that's fine? Again though, I'm not familiar with KP...I believe in the text 2 of the 3 business men speak, but I have to double check in the PBBZ.

Alright everyone, April 15th is drawing close. We're still waiting on the remaining roles to submit their lines. I think everyone was close to completion when I spoke to you guys a week or two back.
Ok, so shuriken and Bjarni are going to voice the Business Men. Here are the PBBZ lines, located on page 23: Business Man 1 (shuriken) (As Raphael's sai flies through the window): "H-HEY---!" Business Man 2 (Bjarni): "GOOD LORD! WHAT IS THAT?! Business Man 2: "Mr. Oroku, is this the protection you would have us buy? If you cannot keep your own complex secure...then we cannot believe that your protection is worth anything! Business Man 3 (shuriken): "Outrageous!" Business Man 2: "Goodbye, sir!" I put in bold the words that are bolded in the text. When you guys are done, send the lines to Jester @ hisjester(at)classicnet.net Last edited by Donnie; 04-13-2011 at 01:10 PM. |
