A Doctor Who episode broadcast in 2006 is to be pulled from streaming and/or edited to remove a disgraced ex-BBC newsreader who confessed to being a PDF File

That's ok Fear Her is a terrible episode with one of the worst child actors ever.

A child actor who appeared in a Children In Need segment several years ago grew up to become the perpetrator of a horrific knife attack in England

So it appears the Fugitive Doctor met the Daleks before Hartnell

That shouldn't be the way that works. That'd be like WB editing out the dad character from Beetlejuice.

The BBC have had this practice for a while. Whenever one of their former or current employers gets in trouble for this sort of thing, their archives are either edited or in some cases junked entirely.

Several episodes of our old music chart show "Top of the Pops" can never be repeated again (including the very last episode broadcast in 2006) due to some of the hosts (Jimmy Saville)

And just recently Jay Blades, the host of The Repair Shop, had to be edited out of the new episodes because he's been charged with emotional manipulation of his wife.

Russel said over in DWM this month that series 3 won't be commissioned until series two airs.

Tonight on Graham Norton, Ncuti Gatwa will confirm he expects to film series three next year

A whole lot of signals. And all of 'em mixed.

In an update, Gatwa 'confirming' a third season was cut from final broadcast

The Mirror claim there will be no filming of series 3 in 2025. This is coming from Nicola Methven who has provided the most accurate Who scoops for the paper

Ah, the return of that timely November CiN tradition of "lazily bung on a minute or so of the Christmas special rather than produce something unique to the charity event"

the Whoniverse collection on i-player will be losing several programmes this month

-Talking Doctor Who (documentary)
-60th Anniversary Concert
-Destination: Skaro (Children In Need 2023)
-Terror of the Zygons (Classic)
-Seeds of Doom (Classic)

The latter two are due to rights disputes with the estate of Robert Banks Stewart

Russel is again uncertain there's going to be a third series. Says the BBC will decide on it's future.

Also says, in the same interview, he hopes the streaming bubble pops as the services are 'unsustainable'.

Sounds like he has no confidence Disney will renew and is burning his bridge.

War Games was much better than the Daleks colourization, pacing was breakneck at the start but settled in the middle and last acts, the music, while still a bit intrusive, was a nice mix of modern and classic series styles.

And I guess it's now official that The War Chief is regarded as an incarnation of The Master. Any time The Doctor confronted him, they used the Master's Nu Who theme (the Sound of Drums) and also used Delgado's theme. When the Chief is executed, you can hear the regeneration effect kick in while he's hauled away

And, predictably, the incarnations the Time Lords selected for The Doctor to choose from were all the Nu Who Doctors, Capaldi, Jodie, Tennant, Smith. The latter got the "that won't do at all" line, which is hilarious if you know Matt's history with the role, Troughton was his primary inspiration!
