I could have done without Irma in this universe. Her character has always annoyed me in OT- both when I was a kid and now as an adult LOL. But the fans asked for her so it's cool that Nick listened. Plus this gives them more of a chance to explore April's life outside of the TMNT. By the second half of season one it almost got to be as if she was living in the sewers with the guys!

So far in the Nick series we have not see anyone who wear glasses. In the OT we had Bebop and Krang robot body. It is Irma who else can it be?

I think the braces are alright, but I agree that it'd be better without. Regardless, that's a pretty good interpretation of a modern Irma.

I dig the braces, its kind of a staple of being a teen in my opinion and I dont think it denotes ugliness. There was a episode were they showed Aprils freshman ID and she had braces if I remember correctly. What I do think is cliché is the hot topic outfit she is wearing.
