Another Christmas and holiday season

As 2024 slowly comes to an end, the Western World prepares for another holiday season. This week has First Advent Sunday.

Christmas gifts mean nothing to me, but the mood in the Western World between late November and early January is awesome with candles, music and movies. And of course, the annual question:

Spoiler:
Will the TMNT appear in the American Thanksgiving parades on Thursday?

The Home Alone movies were awesome.

2024 marks the 30th anniversary for this 1994 Christmas song. Don't clic if you can't.stand it

A lot of us associate Christmas with video games. Since many of us growing up in 1970's, 80's and 90's didn't have parents who also grew up with video games, Christmas and your birthday were the only times many of us would get a new video game.

Despite what's happening in the world right now, not even Mr. Insane in Moscow can ruin Christmas.

To tell the truth, I'm actually looking forward to this year's holiday season.

Thursday is Thanksgiving with my mom and stepdad and that's a day where I FaceTime my relatives, watch the Macy's Parade on NBC, and later on the day watch old classic versions of The Bozo Show, and then have a nice turkey dinner. I gave my mom my Apple app login so we can have an additional 40 movie option.

Next Sunday is Thanksgiving #2 and that is where my sister and brother-in-law come over and do a ham dinner and movies.

Christmas time is a time where I drive around the town looking at the lights; Christmas movies and specials, music. The only downside about Christmas is the cold snowy weather.

New Year's: is when I bring my best friend over for a celebration. I just bought a pair of Trump 47 wine glasses and I have a blueberry wine that my mom bought for me from my last neighborhood of Geneva, IL. He may be spending a week with me and I'll show him my new TV and its features; go to sushi lunch.

I'm predicting a great holiday season this year.

I’m thinking the TMNT will appear in the parade. They appeared last year and even mentioned that this year would be their 40th anniversary.

Yup, they were on and their 40th was mentioned. Though what's her face (Hoda?) said Ralph...

Grateful they were earlier this year, I can stop worrying about missing them and the 40th mention, since I typically flip between two parades.
