Really, I would love that! I was attempting to find a place last night but couldn't find one anywhere. After thirty minutes of searching I gave up. Thanks! It is much appreciated!

Also the last airbender targeted kids as there primary viewer, but his an older audience is another reason why The Last Airbender was seems more light hearted in the beginning by season's 2 and 3 the show had a much darker tone.
I also think the actual animation is much darker, most of the first 3 eps either take place at night or a dark dank place.

the lighting and direction on this show is second to none. i loved airbender, but this one seems to have more "atmosphere" if that makes any sense.

i watched the premeire episode and than the second on saturday after my class. it was really awesome. i'm just surprised that even though she's an teenager she hasn't learned all of the elements, as opposed to aang who barely had any real teachers, but still learned. now if it was me who could have an element to control, i would have to chose from my chinese zodiac: "earth" tiger. or my astrological sign of cancer, linked to the "water" element. and by the way, i bet the "chi-blockers" were related or close friends to that one chick in the avatar the last airbender series. otherwise amon is quite creepy.
no comments on typing i did it fast and it doesn't capitalize things.

I've never seen ATLA, but I am a fan of Korra. I caught the first two episodes on the recommendation of one of my Twitter friends and I was hooked! The animation is gorgeous, the action is incredible, and I really like Korra as a character.
I'm wondering if watching more of Korra will make me want to go back and get into ATLA; so far I don't feel compelled. Seems they've written Korra to appeal to people like me who have never seen ATLA or don't have an interest in it.

I'm totally not digging the old-timey "previously on" segment that kicks off each episode. Still not feeling the pro-bending thing either. Love everything else about the show.

Nope, Aang's dead. When the Avatar dies, they're reincarnated into a new body, which in this series is Korra's. And the name is spelled Amon.

BUT, I would say that if you like Korra, then you would probably enjoy Last Airbender as well. |
