Is nostalgia actually a bad thing? In other words, is yearning on the past keeping society from evolving?

Wouldn't agree that nostalgia and yearning for the past are necessarily the same thing. Yearning for it prob includes nostalgia, though the reverse isn't necessarily true.

After a rough two weeks of time with Ceres, I come home from bringing her to the airport to say...

"Now what?"

I definetly would. I've had a double whopper before, but never a triple one.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Nothing new here. The refs seem to be very good at looking the other way or making obviously bad calls when it benefits the Pats. Goes as far back as the Pats/Eagles game in '01.

I tried to make carbonara and I'm pretty sure the egg ended up congealing a little bit, but I'm not sure...

Fast food dip packets that no longer state what they are...

Was looking for something to dip my soft pretzel nuggets in (was hoping for honey mustard but no such luck) and found a packet from Burger King named.... Zesty. That's it. Zesty. A flavor description. The ingredients list hinted at horseradish among other things and it was alright with the pretzels, but I still have no idea what it was. lol (edit: Google suggests it's intended for onion rings.)

edit: Also been wanting to mention that I'm a little sad there is no TMNT in Target's holiday commercials this year. Understandably the show ended and all, but come on, there's still reruns and the end of the toy line to push. The commercials are kinda lame this year though, so...

Having an 18-month-old (19 in a week) in the house is like often being yelled at by a tiny, angry foreigner.

So there's been something I've been wondering for a while...

Why are certain species names in sci-fi capitalized? Like with Vulcans, Triceratons, Klingons, Utroms, and so-forth? Is it recognition of the species cultures (as we do with "British" "Italian" "American") as well as their biological identification?
