One big issue of colored bandannas is to identify the turtles individually. You can keep red bandannas and use other ways to tell them apart. I know I'm going to repeat what I wrote earlier but : different forms of mask, different facial differences (scars, missing theet, etc), different kind of turtles (like in Rise, but done more seriously), etc.

It would be a compromise to please everyone.

The other big issue is that colored bandannas represent "the time the turtles toned down to become more PG" because of FW. It's harder to fix because whatever writers do with a new comic serie\tv show, some people will always focus on that. (Mirage vs FW)

And yeah, there is also the toy\marketing thing too.

No project will ever be greenlit with 4 raphaels. The only way I ever see it happening is if we get a one off Direct to Video/streaming movie for an anniversary adapting Mirage #1.
