I can just picture the exchange...

IDW: It's been a long time and we need you to pick up the dangling plot thread of Burnow Island.

Campbell: Nuh-uh, I just wanna keep going with Mutant Town. I'm not doing that.

IDW: You'll be able to write about (literally alien) genderless, asexual societies.

Campbell: I'm in! When do I start?

It didn't even last a full month on Pluto TV's Turtles channel. That's pretty bad.

(looks in from my current fandom)

Oh lord, they're really going to Xenomorph up the Utroms, aren't they?

They put one in Zom didn't they? The Triceratons should be staying away from dinner tables with her, shouldn't they?

welp.

(The phrasing of "newborn Utroms require a host" is...interesting.)

Why would a creature genetically engineered from a triceratops give birth to live young? Wouldn't she be laying eggs instead?

Maybe they are genetically engineered so they don't have too.

I hope Mona Lisa doesn't appear much under this artist...seems like they forgot to tell him she has feathers as hair, not loose human hairs. Its a bit weird.

Looking at it again, She does have the feathers, She's just wearing something on top of her head that's making it look if she has human hair.

Spoiler:

They were genetically engineered to be sterile, how the fuck did you forget that? It's even stated in this preview, they're not meant to reproduce, so why would natural reproduction work differently when the sterilisation failed?

Unless somebody intentionally tampered with the DNA.

The artists art style is going to take some getting used to, especially for the humans. Baxter's face looks distorted on the TV. But overall seems interesting.

Also I don't like the idea of April and Mona sleeping together.
