RIP Bob Saget

Bob Saget has died at the age of 65 ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor -- most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in 'Full House' -- tell us he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.

The Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET ... after hotel security had found Bob in his room. We're told he was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.

Jesus, that's a shocker.

Kinda weird nobody but TMZ seems to have anything concrete on it yet. His Wikipedia page hasn't even been updated about it yet last I checked. Strange.

Pretty young, too. Wonder what was up with that? Drug overdose, self-isolating to recover from Covid, what? He was fine a week ago or so.

Strange.

RIP.

Definitely a shocker. Was randomly watching Full House this week and then saw an interview with him on YouTube. Guess he was everywhere. I know he was friends with Norm Macdonald.

Considering he seemed in good health very recently and was relatively young, if he randomly died in some hotel room it's probably one of the two things I suggested. People don't generally just up and die in hotel rooms. When they do, it's usually drugs or suicide, or at least, historically it always was, pre-Covid. So now there's a third option.

I'd hope he didn't OD or kill himself. He always loved to make jokes about being a big cokehead, but who knows how much of that was sincere and how much of it was just doing shtick. I just know that's one of those things that supposedly he never shut up about, so it kinda has me wondering.

I guess we'll learn more as details come out. It's just strange, the circumstances and everything.

OMG! It's true, I saw it and didn't believe it. He has been so active touring with his comedy and Full House get togethers. I have watched him since before I can remember. I valued the Fuller House show and their closeness, also the fact they were all still alive and well. I am in saddened shock. This is definitely out of nowhere.

Boy, this was unexpected and hard-hitting, so many of us grew up with Bob Saget, his standup, Full House, AFHV, and so much more. Sounds like it was natural even though only at 65. We will miss you Bob, thanks for the memories, keep making those in heaven laugh.

Could it have been a sudden massive heart attack? Just guessing, but I don't know of any heart related health issues or perhaps within his family? My grandfather was the same age when that took him so it is possible.

I never met him, but I am hurting quite a bit right now. He may prefer the raunchy, but he embraced his warm demeanor in the end realizing how much fans like us meant to him and vice versa. No goodbye, not ever able to reach out to get a Cameo. It sucks Full House is not on television, just Fuller House on Netflix. I guess I am going to log off here and go watch the triple wedding finale.

I was sooo mad with Fuller House not letting him and Vicky Larson/Gail Edwards confirmed to end up together.

I think his Dad had a bad heart too, so I think that's most likely what happened here: heart failure caused by a genetic predisposition.

Shame.

Was shocked when I heard.

Had he had any issues the past? I swear Fuller House Danny seemed off compared to Full House Danny and I'm not just talking Sagat's age or new writers.

Rest in Peace Bob Saget

I just learned that the great Bob Saget has passed away and while I didn't care about "Full house" I loved him on America's Funniest Home Videos.

I guess his modern day counterpart is Rob Dyrdeck who hosts MTV's "Ridiculousness" and has been doing so since the early 2010's. He gets to do what Saget was forbidden to do: Curse like a sailor while narrating the videos.

Still, I'll have Saget over Dyrdeck any time of day.

I was shocked to hear this news. I know he had a very filthy sense of humor, but I was one of many people who grew up watching him on Full House when I was just a kid. I continued to watch the series in syndication for many years.
