Splinter vs. Hun

I never really thought about this, but it’s kind of weird how Splinter attacking Hun during the murder of Yoshi was just a throw away reference and didn’t amount to anything.

That scene was a big moment between Splinter and Saki in the 1990 movie and seemed like an interesting reveal in episode 10, but literally nothing ever came of it. Unless I’m forgetting something?

I think they wanted to reference how 1990 movie did that scene and that's kind of it. Because Shredder wore his face protector (and that even if he didn't, getting attacked like that might have revealed too much), it didn't really make for it to be him so they picked Hun instead. That and I guess it makes Hun's design a little more interesting?
