Doubt they will have anything to do with the Platinum dunes turtle. We'll probably be getting something that aludes to IDW turtles, like the Batman/TMNT stuff.

I already got my clarification like a day ago. They didn't even let Boom know she existed. It's also not IDW continuity, but a spinoff of it like Batman's, so she's not really required.

Probably powerangers rights are easier to obtain and make crossover, its almost always about the money, marvel is too expensive, wb already had turtles in their dc games so batman crossover was amatter of time.
Its just these redesigns arent really that good, turtles look strange , proportions, big forearms and kinda mimicking first mirage... meh.
But thats my opinion, im oldschool tmnt fan i guess and even in 90s power rangers were kinda silly to me while tmnt were fine.

Batman and Turtles had already crossed over several times before they were in Injustice 2. And Marvel's not a matter of money... they just are flat-out refusing any comic crossovers at all these days.

I never liked Power Rangers. It took the place of TMNT in kid's media, but wasn't anywhere near as good. I know that technically it existed for decades in Japan before it became a US thing, but it's totally obvious that they marketed it here as a Ninja Turtles rip-off. Everything from the adjective-adjective-adjective-noun title and shape of the logo, to different colored martial arts characters plus a girl or two. Power Rangers and Next Mutation signified the end of TMNT for a long time until we finally got some nice reboots much later. I really wish they wouldn't cross Power Rangers with IDW TMNT.

I like how some of your complaints cancel each other out, from the different color Rangers to a female on the team when the different color rangers are taken directly from the Japanese counterpart.

I mean it was clear that Saban was selling MMPR as something with TMNT ties (has even the genius with the bo-staff.) It was basically that + superheros + Highschool shows that were also popular.

It really just came out at a really good time.

Shame the show, since Neo-saban era, couldn't realize it couldn't catch lightning twice.
