i respect your opinion my friend, but i feel the opposite. this feels like a better fit for the cartoon line. this just isn't close to the same level as 2008 neca mirage turtles for me in terms of paint deco.

I agree. I don't understand the hate it's getting! Paint isn't on the level of the first NECA Mirage turtles, but it's as good as the Foot set and far better than that Loot Crate Shredder.

comparing anything to the loot crate shredder paint is to acknowledge that the bar is currently not even set. my barometer for standards is set with the 2008 mirage line.

I like how the figure looks, and definitely wanna get him as well as all future Mirage comics figures (it's about time they came back to this line after so many years), but I'll admit I'm a bit nervous about the possibility of bendy rubber limbs...

Cool! Looks like he comes with the wrap around gauntlet blaster that Kirby draws for Donatello when he's trapped in the comic book dimension in the old Mirage Donatello #1 special. I believe the 2k3 tmnt show adapted that issue into an episode as well.

Yeah the figure itself looks terrific, but why change the color scheme or deviate in any way? Especially when they hit the mark on the sculpt so nicely?

They are continuing on that route from the Blue lootcrate comic Shredder (unfortunately for my nostalgia)

But Shredder also came out with the right colors. I hope this is not the final version and they will return the blue color.

Well... NECA did keep tauting this as a Mirage line, not an IDW one.

Fingers crossed this gets sorted. I could maybe see myself displaying this without the hat and cape...
