This will be the second Game of the Year after Shredder's Revenge.

Is there an award for "Game(s) of Twenty-Five Years Ago"? Then it might be up for that, sure.

Can't wait! I REALLY hope that they don't pull a "digital coming soon and those physicals you pre-ordered will be here who knows when!"

Truthfully, it's my second hyped game of the year so I concur with CyberCubed. We are on a TMNT forum where people like the TMNT games they grew up with, afterall!

I'm not sure if that was the worst or best teaser trailer they could have released.

What I love is how innovative Konami was with the Shredder boss fights in each game:

TMNT 1: Shredder basically has an attack that de-mutates you in one hit

TMNT 2: Shredder splits in two, and the "real" one always has his helmet knocked off. I loved this as a kid.

TMNT 3: Shredder becomes Super Shredder for the first time, but has really unique lightning based attacks and fireballs.

Turtles in Time: The Super Shredder fight everyone knows with fire, ice and mutagen attacks.

HyperStone Heist: Shredder fights you with a giant sword

TMNT: Arcade Game: Standard Shredder fight but very fun

The Gameboy games also have fun Shredder fights.

Then in Tournament Fighters NES and SNES he has amazing movesets, and is called "Cyber Shredder" in the SNES version.

Konami could have rehashed the same Shredder fight each time but he fought you a different way each game and kept it fresh.

In this game Super Shredder is identical to his SNES version and uses fire, ice and mutagen attacks.

He uses sword only in arcade version of TiT.

Lots of great info in that stream. The optional enhancements look especially neat. (They even added an option to make the Genesis TF boss characters fully playable!) Looking even more forward to digging into this in a little over a month!

Also, Pizza Power confirmed by the devs to be retained in the CC, so it's just the original theme missing from the first Arcade game.

Is online still only for 3 games? Are they going to add it to SNES Turtles in Time?

The amount of content and behind the scenes features in this game is kind of insane.

The (much shorter) Pixel Dan video (the YouTube link) will give you all the important bits. Also has a look at the Turtle Lair section with all the extras that they didn't get to in the stream. On that note, this might be a rare retro game collection where I immediately run to the extras after booting it up rather than the games. Boxart in both regions, full manuals, design documents, advertisements, music and even comic covers and FW screens featuring the stuff that appeared in the games. It's just about everything you could possibly want from a compilation of the classic Konami TMNT games. (You can even search content by specific CHARACTERS and OBJECTS! Think I'll be making heavy use of the "Slash" and "Armaggon" filters myself. )

Even though the game is stupidly difficult, the fact that added in the ability to play as the bosses in the Sega Genesis version of Tournament Fighters is insane.

There's so much to this collection, and I can't wait to play it! It comes out the week my wife and I are taking a flight to Denver that week for two nights of Nine Inch Nails at Red Rocks, so this will be perfect for the flight too that week on my Switch.

Black Nerd has a video up on Twitter showing a bit of a closer look at what was being demoed in the Pixel Dan video. It also confirms that the game has an animated intro like SR!

That's awesome.... Red Rocks, is that the amazing venue that Bill Burr just did his Netflix special at?
