You think people getting deported regardless of if they're legally born citizens or not is awesome????

Awesome dude, Cowabunga.

Are you voting for Harris or just avoiding voting altogether? You come off as one of the "I hate all politics" types, but now with a liberal coat of paint.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

I don't have disagreements with Biden's sentiment but of course, he didn't need to hand Trump's campaign this assist and give them a new talking point. Cause now they are acting super outraged about it rofl. So... that sucks for Kamala's side. Biden please just zip it.

I still think no matter how you slice it, calling the entire island of puerto rico garbage vs. calling trump supporters garbage it's really no contest which one is more offensive but it still didn't need to be said by Biden.

harris pledges to find common ground in speech:

Some of you may recall she has also already promised to have a Republican in her cabinet, to further demonstrate her desire for unity.

As I think I've noted before, there was a time when one party won but would work with the other party to find common policies to move America forward. That's long gone since the days of Reagan, and now you hear more bickering, mud slinging, and vitriol about "the other party" than actual constructive policies. More "I'm not going to talk about what we will do, but look at what THEY will do if they get into power".

Harris' pledge to olive branch the Republicans in some way is a much needed first step in some form of consolidation.

I think -- no, I know -- that that's a complete fiction and I'd struggle to fathom where you could derive that as so much as even being a remote possibility. That's like Whoopi on The View the other day saying Trump wants to split up interracial couples and force the white guy to marry a white girl. Complete lunacy of the highest order, based on not even a shred of anything -- either this is true psychopathic behavior or they really believe their viewers are this stupid and malleable. Maybe a mix.

Maybe that is what you've been watching lately? The View?

You think it will drive voters away if Biden calls Trump voters ‘garbage‘? I don't think anyone cares at this point. The Trump crowd probably sees it as a badge of honour.

“I come from the middle class”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kamala’s first job interview went something like this:

So much for unity.

Interesting to see the responses, between yes yes agree, I don't agree but I understand your position, and the obvious MAGA inbreds screaming abuse and obscenities because another RINO (in their eyes) is diminishing their orange coloured god.

Also LOL at Triumph, miss that dog...

(met Rob Smigel a long time ago, he was greatly impressed that Triumph's reach beyond the US was greater than he could imagine!)

Love how Arnold says he hates politics and feels the republican party has gotten worse but doesn't care for either side. But he is voting for Kamala as many knew he would. He voted against Trump the previous two times as well for Hilary and Joe Biden.

The Terminator has spoken.

Watch out for those "military camps". They are coming for you! And they are especially coming for those who are most worried about "our Democracy". They are coming for you first.

Seriously... be careful....

Citation? I don't think I have seen anything that supports deporting naturally born citizens. That would be foolish because they have never been citizens anywhere else.

Good. Every person who crosses the border illegally has committed a crime as their very first action coming into the country. If blue states are refusing to go after criminals, why should my Tax dollars go to that?

Re: Everyone quoting celebrities endorsing this person or that...

Stop. Why are you taking advice from celebrities because most of them are smart enough to have hired someone to do their thinking for them while they make art. The closest person to have an opinion that might mean something is the "Governator" and whoever wrote that for him talked a pretty good game. Its kind of stupid to say you hate politics and want to bring power back to the people and support someone who is the opposite.

You do realise he’s also going after non citizens who are legally allowed to stay in the US, right?

Basically 1 in 20 people living in Florida alone would be deported based on Trumps plans. And this is just one state.

The important bits from the article being…

Quote:
The annual U.S. GDP could drop by as much as 6.8%, according to the report, while government tax coffers that pay for schools and other critical services would also take a hit. Undocumented immigrants paid nearly $77 billion in local, state, and federal taxes in 2022, the researchers found.

And while undocumented immigrants cannot tap into federal social-safety net programs such as Social Security and Medicare, those programs would lose out on tens of billions of dollars in tax contributions should undocumented immigrants be deported.
So they pay in $77bn and don’t take out SS or Medicare… what was that about living on benefits and sponging off the system?

Normally I would ask for a citation, but I don't care because I don't like Trump. A broken clock is right twice a day and in this instance...he is right. The biggest part that I agree is that the places that would be affected by this aren't deporting 'more serious' criminals...they are protecting them from deportation. If they decide they want to protect them from being sent back to their own countries to commit crimes there then they are welcome to the taxes those people probably arent paying.

I am glad everyone else pay taxes...but if they commit crimes but still value being here then they can get in legally and pay those taxes again.
