Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters thoughts

I just saw the trailer for Percy Jackson Episode II: The Sea of Monsters( that's what i call em since they remind me of Star Wars) and as a fan of the books, i'm somewhat optimistic about this one. The trailer is So-so and i HATED the first film.But what do you guys think? Can this film improve on the first (We've seen crap like the star wars prequels improve significantly in the sequel). Will it kick ass or suck ass? Comment below and let me know.

O_O YES!!! ^_^ I was starting to think that movie would never get a sequel. The fact that it shed its Harry Potter knockoff roots makes me happy. I harbor a certain amount of eye-rollage for HP and things that remind me of it. Plus, I love the hades outta greek mythology.
