Marvel Legends Retro FF Thing Figure Question

Hey all, I wonder if I might catch any fellow Marvel Legends collectors out there. I have a preorder down for the recently revealed FF Thing figure, and was under the impression that it was not due out until March or so, but got an email from BigBadToyStore today saying it would ship soon. Just curious if anyone else saw this? Is that a normal thing for a figure to be released so early?
