It's a prototype model. My idea was that Baxter had been concocting all sorts of robot designs before the DOD got him, and they forced him to work on robot defense systems, Baxter clearly had other intentions. Although, I am interested in hearing your theories!

That was actually the main one, from the dialogue there. But wasn't absolutely sure.

Cool! And funny how it got rubbished so quickly.

Yeah, I was hoping that'd work! It got a shout out in a review so hopefully everyone else digs... I imagined it happening in an animated series and thought it would be one of those superquick throwaway gags.

My comic shop didn't have the issue in this week, but luckily I got an advance copy to review! Maybe I shoulda reviewed it earlier so my review could be in advance, too.

My review of Tales #61!

Very cool story with the usual kickass art from Ponce. It actually got me hankering for the "Brain Thief" story arc featuring Stockman and Donatello, which I wasn't actually anticipating until now. Way to whet my whistle there, Tristan!
