At the very least, those kids seemed to be having a really good time.

Haven't seen Phelous review something tmnt related in a long time so I'm definetly looking forward to this!

(His last review was either TransDimensional Turtles or Tmnt 2014 I think?)

I hope he gets around to reviewing more tmnt stuff in the future, like the 2nd crossover between the Nick/80s turtles and maybe his thoughts on Rise of the Tmnt?

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

If he doesn't provide the subs for this I will consider it a personal attack.

This

Phelous does have a 'Drome account but I doubt he visits anymore, but if you read this Phelous: Please release the subs!

Just watched the review and had a blast!

I wonder what other weird tmnt knock off films might exist?

We really do need the chance to see this thing intact with English captions. I'd preferred dubbed really, but can't lose some of that crazy tone of voice and whatnot, so I'd put up with captions.

Why did the "princess" sounds like a robot before she transformed herself into human??

Why was there running water, like the sound of a creek, inside that child when listened to with a stethoscope...

The whole thing is just epically, awesomely, amazingly horrible. You'd think it was just some weird, cheap college project, purposely made to be as weird as possible, if it were not for the toys and whatever.

But there are subs on the review?

Unless there aren't subs on the actual movie.

I'd say this is something that, should a forum get-together ever see fruition, that we just get drunk watching and laugh it it.

Good question. I had thought they'd done the whole thing already (Ok, so come on, where it is online?? ), but maybe they just did clips of it in editing.

Agree on the get together viewing.

Also, this would be Mystery Science Theater 3000 gold!

Members of this community had been trying to track down a copy of the film for years. One finally surfaced in 2016 (iirc), but it was of course raw. Phelous says in the video that he provided that digital file to his Korean friend, who translated it for him in the form of an English "script", which he then himself, presumably, timeset onto the film. So if my understanding is correct, he is the sole possessor of a subtitled version of this movie. If this is true, the very least he could do would be to provide an .ass file for others to map onto the VHS rip, assuming its coded to the one that was on Youtube some time ago. But given the film's old, foreign, obscure, & bootleg nature, he'd face no repercussions just outright releasing the video in full with subs. Hell, I'd buy a DVD.

Ah ok, this is what I was wondering, I first heard about this film around the time I joined the forum and it was always seen as this long lost movie since no copies existed. I wasn't active here in 2016 to realize one surfaced around that time.

EDIT: Oh god, I tried to watch that review but it was painful to listen to that guy talk and it's 40 minutes of him being "funny". I hate these Nostalgia Critic style reviews. I wish it had been a more normal review or hell just the raw file .

Ripped the film from Youtube...now to wait for subs...if like Powder said, they are tied to that VHS rip.

I always feel with Phelous videos that I should be watching them a quarter speed faster.

It feels so awesome to discover this lost past of history, never thought it would happen. Odd I never found out but man, it's awesome to discover new obscure things of franchises that have had everything dug up for years now again.

The fact I don't probably means I'm not his biggest fan.
