Snagged Karai off Amazon for $38. Technically my second one, but I won't get my wave 10 until Christmas.
I really like parts of this figure, but she feels like she's from the G.I. Joe Ultimates line more than TMNT though. I do love how much inspiration she draws from her original Mirage look mixed with 2k3, but through the lens of a cartoon. The paint work on her wraps are incredible, even though I know it's just airbrushing. The blue highlights in her hair give her some needed depth. The weapons over all are good, even if I'm tired of getting so many of the hook and daggers - at least these are a different color! I'm disappointed by her torso being stuck due to the rubber cover and I really wish she had a little more range in her elbows. The Foot Ninja mask is a fun accessory as a take on "human" Foot Soldiers in the cartoon/toy world. But it doesn't quite hit the mark on the figure since her neck is fully exposed. I might end up customizing this one into a human Foot soldier. I really wish she came with a rubberized scarf too like Shredder and Splinter did, but she's a fun What If...? kind of figure. |

I think you nailed it, she does give off distinctive G.I. Joe Ultimates vibes, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but a bit off. The exposed neck is a wasted opportunity for an army builder for human foot soldiers. And, the felt scarf is way too thick and jarring as far as texture choice. Rubberized scarf would have sufficed. Overall, I really like the figure despite the very limited posability. |

GITD Wingnut, which seems to be one of the more cooler glow figures in the line doesn't appear to come with additional hands, alternate mug (e.g. the batman-inspired head-sculpt) or the cape (batman-inspired), despite the same price tag, I believe.

What’s taking Super7 so long to reveal the next waves?
